Fairy High

The rest of the year was just as exciting as Lucy's very first day. It was now the last day of school. Lots had changed: Lisana had started dating Bixslow, and Mira was very happy about it. Elfman wasn't too happy with that match, though. No one knows why, but Lucy suspected it was because they were both dating people from the Thunder Legion, which was Laxus, Freed, Evergreen, and Bixslow. Evergreen and Elfman were dating, though they would never admit it. Freed and Laxus had gotten even closer.

The school day was almost over. Then, Max called everyone in the school into the gym. Principal Makarov stood in the stage.

"Welcome, kids! First, happy last day of school!" Principal Makarov paused, and everyone cheered. "Now, there are a few awards I need to give out. First, for oldest student: this goes to Wakaba Mine!"

Wakaba walked up onto the stage and took the award, and even though the award seemed a little offensive to Lucy, Wakaba was grinning from ear to ear. Macao was the only one that cheered.

"Kindest student: Mirajane Strauss!"

Every boy started cheering.

"Best couple: Nalu: Natsu and Lucy!"

Cana cheered the loudest for that.

Lucy gasped. Natsu grabbed her hand, and the two of them ran up onto the stage to get their awards. There were a couple other awards, but Lucy didn't recognize any of the names. After the award ceremony, Lucy met up with Gray, Juvia, Natsu, Erza, Mira, Cana, and Wendy in the courtyard. They all met up with Seigrain, Shelia, Kagura, and Miliana at the Blue Pegasus Restaurant, where they ate all night. At the end of the day, all of them happily went home. It was the end of a great school year, and Lucy was looking forward to next year at Fairy High. Her school was starting to feel like home in a way.

Every day, Lucy would meet up with all of her friends. She went to breakfast with Cana and Lisana, the arcade with Wendy and Shelia, lunch with Erza and Mira, hang out with Natsu in the park, and then she and Natsu would go get dinner together. Sometimes, Juvia and Gray would tag along, but Lucy only let them if Gray wore a shirt.

A week later, Lucy had gotten a job at a nearby bakery. She saved up her money until she had enough to buy a small house near Fairy High so she could stop paying rent.

Two weeks later, Natsu ran out of money and was kicked out of his apartment. Lucy let him move in with her, although Natsu had to sleep on the couch, since Lucy only had one bedroom. Lucy found out that Happy had been living with Natsu, and that they had become good friends, so now Lucy also had a cat living in her house. It was a bit crowded, but Natsu said he would find a way to get enough money so that they could build their own house, from the ground up.

Soon it was September. It was time to go back to Fairy High. Lucy couldn't wait for another great year.
