The Plan

When Lucy got back to her apartment, she was greeted by a pillow hitting her in the face. Everyone froze.

"What is going on here?" Lucy demanded.

"We were just having a pillow fight. Loosen up a bit, Lucy." Cana said.

Lucy gritted her teeth.

"So, how was your date?" Cana asked, smiling.

"It was good." Lucy said.

Cana raised her eyebrows. "So your admitting it was a date?"

"Well..."

"Hey everyone! Lucy's dating Natsu!" Cana yelled at the top of her lungs.

Lucy smiled and nodded. Everyone started talking at once. Erza walked up to her and congratulated her.

"Girls!" Mira said. "Let's tell Lucy about our plan!"

With that, everyone fell silent.

"Plan for what?" Lucy asked.

"A plan to get Principal Laxus to hire Mr. Happy again."

"Wait. He fired Mr. Happy?"

"Yup. Then he made Erza, Gildarts and I teachers. We've been studying packets that he's making us memorize before we can teach you kids. Anyway, the plan is, me and Erza are going to convince Gildarts to resign with us. Then he'll have no choice but to hire Mr. Happy again."

"I'll admit, it might work. But how do we know that he won't just hire someone else?"

"Because Laxus used to be in my class when I was in elementary school, and trust me, he doesn't like to do extra work. He'll settle with having Mr. Happy teach us again."

"Okay. I can't wait to see if it works!" Lucy said, a little doubtful.

"It will work," Erza said. "It better, at least."

Lucy nodded. "So, do you girls want to play a game?"

Everyone nodded. They played a long game of Truth or Dare, and then Erza baked everyone strawberry cakes, even though she ate most of them. Then, they helped Erza pick out one of Lucy's dresses that Lucy was going to lend to Erza for her next date with Seigrain. Afterwards, they all claimed they would all stay up all night, then they all promptly fell fast asleep, getting ready to put their plan to get Mr. Happy back into action the next day.

The next day, Mira, Erza, and Gildarts headed straight to Principal Laxus' office. They had written RESIGN on their packets in big red letters. Mira opened the door to Principal Laxus' office. He yelled at them, but they didn't care. They slapped their packets down on his desk and left without a word. They went straight to the Tail classroom and sat at their normal desks. Lucy shot Erza and Mira a thumbs up. A few minutes later, they heard stomping outside the door, then Principal Laxus barged onto the classroom.

"Mirajane Strauss, Erza Scarlet, and Gildarts Clive are hereby expelled from Fairy High!" Principal Laxus yelled.

All of the boys in their class started crying. A few ran up to the principal and started punching him.

Elfman stayed in his seat. "So not manly," he muttered.

Freed stepped up and started pushing the other boys away from Principal Laxus. But then, to everyone's surprise, Laxus pushed Freed to the ground. Freed laid there, not moving. Evergreen and Bixslow rushes over to him and dragged him away from all of the fighting. Elfman ran up to Laxus, ready to fight.

"You dare hurt your friend?" Elfman roared. He punched Laxus in the nose. Blood streamed down Laxus' face. In the blink of an eye, Elfman was laying on the floor, his eye swollen shut.

Mira, Lisana and Evergreen all screamed. Lisana and Evergreen helped him up and brought him and Freed to the infirmary, where they got Madam Porlyusica to work on healing them. Meanwhile, Mira and Erza had beaten Laxus up good. He was on the floor, still trying to get a hit in but failing. Soon, he stopped moving. Mira gave him one last good kick, then dragged him out to the hall and left him there. Once Evergreen and Lisana has brought Elfman and Freed back from the infirmary, they all locked themselves in the classroom until the school day was over.

Lucy met up with Natsu in the courtyard.

"Well, that sure was crazy, huh?" Lucy asked.

"Yeah. I'm just mad that I didn't get a hit in."

Lucy smiled. "That's my Natsu."

Natsu grinned and grabbed her hand. "Want to come to the bakery down the street and get some cookies or something?"

"Sure!" Lucy said.

They went to the bakery and got some macarons. They brought them to a park, and sat there and ate them. Afterwards, they said goodbye and walked back to their separate apartments.

Lucy couldn't believe how crazy that day had been. After all, her very own classmates had beaten up their principal!
