Red Manor, Madeline's (Hade's Mom) Room
Hade's POV
I stared at one of the blank lemon yellow walls in Mother's room, wondering what she wanted to chastise me about this time. I hadn't done anything wrong over the past few days, I hadn't talk to her either. I had gone out of the house more than once, I had also talked with strangers who I ended up bumping into while I was outside the house. There was nothing that I had done wrong that I could see, then again, she always doesn't fail to surprise my little mind.
More than likely it was going to be something petty, something that most of us did not care about but she did for some reason.
For the past thirty minutes I had been sitting here, as she got a maid to force me out of a bed forty five minutes ago probably suspecting that I took forever like all girls to get ready for the day. In the end I only took fifteen and was stuck waiting for what seemed like forever for Mother to come out and then bullshut about what I seemed to be doing wrong.
Eventually she came out in a pastel ruffly looking shirt and a white pencil skirt, her hair in a bun and she was wearing pink stilettos that were thankfully silent on the carpet.
"Hi Mother." I said, turning to her desk, where she always sat whenever she was going to talk to me about these things.
"Hello there Hades." Mother greeted, looking at me and frowning. "Why do you always wear black? Blue looks better on you, that's why you had to wear it last night."
"Whatever." I sighed, and she glared at me for a second and I shrugged as nonchalantly as possible without giving off the vibe that what she said to some extent hurt me, since she always seems to never accept the way I look (I sometimes wish she would, but I guess some things are just not meant to be).
"That though is not the reason why I had brought you here though. I brought you here on more important, more positive I would think." Mother began.
"Oh I can only guess." I mumbled, and she shut up for a second, unfortunately hearing it.
"Hades, don't be a smartass. What I am telling you, is that at the Ball on Wednesday, the one that you dissobeyed my orders at, I found someone there. His name was Anthony Holmes, the son of Rene Holmes, a well renowned director, I hope you already knew that though. I was talking with him, and he asked me if I knew anyone that would like to go bowling with him at a party that his parents are holding to celebrate the finishing of one of his Dad's new movies. I told him that you would be going and you will be going. It is tomorrow at seven, and today I am getting my stylist Andrea to go with you to the Mall and find you something perfect for the occasion.... since you are obviously not good at that." Mother explained.
"Oh, great." I sighed and Mother glared at me again.
"I also brought you here to say that what you did at the ball was totally uncalled for, so uncalled for that I had no choice but to bring you out of the ball. The person you were talking to was someone that people say is worthless and gay, a kind of person that I do not want you to be hanging out with. My niece says that he is not even rich, his parents working for Wildberry Film Studios and then barely even making it." Mother complained, and I groaned and rolled my eyes.
"Hades stop that!" Mother yipped, "now I am calling Andrea to come over here. You are also staying here to make sure that Andrea actually recieves you, and since she is so stupid and blonde that she can barely find this place. Got it?"
