SUN. 26 APR. 2020

you've been so good to me.

i love how you've protected my naive heart and soul.
i love how you've dried my face when i have cried oceans for hours until i fall asleep.
i love how you've been my ears when no one listened.
i love how you've held me close from all of my fears.
i love how i can forget all of my insecurities with you.

but sometimes i hate you.

i hate that i can never leave you.
i hate that i want bury my face in you even though there's no air underneath.
i hate that you can hold me for hours and i forget time exists.
i hate that i feel more safe with you than with a human.
i hate that you can't verbally comfort me when i need you the most.

however,
i still love you, even though you're just a bed filled with blankets and pillows.
