The First Time They Talked

[Bakugou's POV]

It was before class and the red-head from the library walked in. He must've recognised me because he walked over with a smile.

'Hey! Do I know you?' His smile was gorgeous.

'Um- No! I don't think we've met before.' I said, not looking at him, afraid I might melt under his gaze.

'Oh! The library right?' I said.

'Oh, must be.' I tried to give my best 'fuck off dude' voice.

'Oh, my friends are here! I'll talk to you later...' He trailed off, asking for my name silently.

'Bakugou. Katsuki Bakugou.' I stuck my hand out.

'Eijiro Kirishima!' He chirped, smiling again then walking to his friends. Kirishima, huh? I quickly glanced at him and his friends. Pinky was there again. I put my feet up on my desk which got some off-brand sonic to yell at me. I didn't care. I don't know why I did care so much about this girl's relationship to Kirishima. I shouldn't be jealous! I'm not! Right? I've only spoken to the guy once.

I saw a girl walk up to the door and call Pinky over. She looked as if she was from the lab downstairs. I think 1-H is where they study. They do development stuff and build gadgets and shit. Mina ran straight into her arms, giving her a kiss. saying something like 'why are you here?' to which she got a response of 'wanted to wish you luck on your first day.' some cheesy shit like that. Sonic eventually fucked off. I turned back to see Kirishima sighing as PikaPika and Sellotape joked with him. My attention quickly got averted as Deku walked into class. I called him over and he smiled.

'W-What's up Kacchan?' He said.

'Redhead behind us at the back.' Midoriya turned to see who I was talking about. He gasped.

'Library boy?' I nodded. He smiled even more.

'You have a chance with him!' He said.

'What! No I fuckin' don't.' I said, looking forward instead of at the awkward celery stick next to me.

'You so do! I thought the same thing with Todo! I saw him and I liked him instantly. Look where we are now! What if Library boy-'

'Kirishima.' I interrupted.

'What if Kirishima felt that way about you?' He said. He noticed Todoroki come in and took his leave but he left the thought, running wild in my head.

What if Kirishima likes me? Impossible, we've met once. Right?

[Kirishima's POV]

As Mina ran off to her girlfriend, I sighed.

'Jealous?' Sero asked.

'No! What? No!' I denied.

'You so are! Why were you blushing around Blasty McSpload over th-' He cut himself off with a dramatic gasp. 'No!'

I nodded dumbly.

'Yeah...' II fiddled with my fingers as Sero and Kaminari started the introduction of their grand 'fuck guys, dont get attatched to guys.' speech.

Phase 1: Nicknames.

'Dude!'

'Bro!'

'Fam!'

'My guy!'

'Broski!'

'Mate!'

'Get the fuck on with it,' I sighed, rubbing my eyes.

Phase 2: Bad Puns.

'Bakugou? More like bakugno!'

'Yeah! Him? More like bin.'

'Trash not class.'

Phase 3: Run out of Puns and words in general so go back to nicknames while you think

'Dude.................'

'C'mon man.................'

'Bro!............................'

Phase 4: Guilt trips

'But, if you date another guy, you'll forget about me!' Denki cried, falling dramatically into his boyfriend's arms.

'You'll never have bro time because you'll be on icky dates and having se-'

'YOU'LL FORGET MEEE!' Denki cried even louder, gaining a few heads to turn.

'Yes, and you'll forget Denki here.' Sero sighed.

Phase 5: Realize it's hopeless and state your true honest opinion.

'Okay. Fine. I just don't want you getting hurt.' Kami said, looking at the ground.

'Yeah, you've seen how he is. We don't want you to make a mistake.' Sero said, patting my shoulder. 'But, if you think he's going to make you happy, if you really think you can help him, then go for it. Don't let him get away.' Sero smiled. Kami looked back up.

'Don't forget your best bro,' he whispered.

'Guys! I know you love me and stuff but I'm not dating the guy yet! I've only seen him twice, spoken to him once. Besides, I have no chance!' He sighed again.

The bell rang and class began.
