okay so hi again and welcome to the very first chapter of notice me

and once again i would like to mention that i'm the one writing notice me and not allie. allie is working on another book : one direction imagines and preferences sooo if you would like an imagine from her you can just sent our account a message or leave a comment on her book.

once again this is my first book so please no hate and i'm really if it's shitty and all

//autumn//

''Cal, I think this one's good." i said to cal, pointing at the apartment on his laptop screen. we were still in the tree house, but he'd brought his laptop and a blanket up here for us to look at the apartments available.

it may seem like we're rushing things, but this was what we've wanted for so long, and the both of us knew we couldn't wait any longer. if i did wait, i would probably go nuts.

the apartment on his screen wasn't very big, but i would say it was reasonable for the both of us. we didn't want to get a house because it would only just be the two of us.

''That's nice." he commented, looking at the price of it. surprisingly, and luckily, it wasn't very expensive. i'm pretty sure we would be able to chip in enough money to pay for it.

''Isn't this just... bizarre?" he chuckled, shaking his head slightly.

''What's bizarre?"

"The fact that we're living out our childhood fantasy and moving in together like we've always wanted." he squeezed his hand through the tiny gap in between my back and the wood, hugging my side slightly.

''I have to admit it is crazy." i giggled, remembering what we had promised each other that very day.

~flashback~

12 years ago.

''Cal cal!" i shouted over to him from the tree house. he looked up at i and shot me his toothy grin. he climbed up the ladder and tackled me into a tight hug.

''I missed you fall." he giggled into my hair and pulled away. fall was the nickname came up for me when we were 4. not that he didn't like autumn, he wanted to give me a unique nickname no one else would or could call me.

''I missed you too cal cal." i giggled back. both of you had just graduated from kindergarten, so you had a little free time.

calum just came back from a one week trip to scottland, so i was on my own for a while.

the whole afternoon, i was just fooling around and cuddling with him. both of us had lunch before we met back at my house.

mrs hood allowed calum to stay over night at my house, which i was really excited for. it was calm and peaceful when the both of you spent time together at night.

there was no sun, no one to call you for lunch or to go have a bath, both of you were able to actually spend quality time together.

thunder crashed, and the whole room became bright for a second.

i let out a small squeal and pulled the covers over my head. ''Let's move in together when we're 18!" he suddenly suggested out of the blue.

my eyes lit up and i smiled widely at him. "We should! And we can have a bouncy castle!"

the both of us just spent the whole night talking about this fantasy of our's, but never actually realizing that it may actually come true.

that night, the thunderstorm carried on, leaving me frightened as ever. ''Cal cal... I'm scared." i whimpered out. i could feel calum hug me tightly as he nuzzled his head into my neck.

''I'll protect you forever, fall."

"Promise?"

"I promise." he finally said, planting a light kiss on my cheek, which turned a hint of red afterwards.

when calum kept a promise, i knew he would always keep it. i feel asleep with calum's arms around me for the entire night, making me feel more protected than ever.

~end of flashback~

"CALUM! AUTUMN! GET BOTH OF YOUR ASSES DOWN HERE RIGHT THIS INSTANT AND GO TO BED!" you could hear mrs hood's voice echo through his whole backyard.

''Well, look's like we better go. We'll discuss this tomorrow." he smiled and i nodded. i put on my hoodie and rushed down almost instantly.

calum gave me one last hug and kissed my cheek, wishing me goodnight. once i got home, all the lights were off.

well, not that i expected them to be on or anything considering it was 11:15 at night.

i slipped off my shoes and threw the house keys on the counter top, noticing that there was a note on the table waiting for me already.

dear david, autumn, and felicity,

all of you must be asleep already, but just to let you know, i won't be back until tomorrow night.

just as i placed the note back down, the lights flickered on. great. "Where have you been?" david asked me, raising his eyebrow. felicity wasn't along side with him, so she probably was asleep already.

''I was just with Cal alright, calm your tits." i groaned at his over-protectiveness. he rolled his eyes at me and replied, ''Well, if you actually came home early, I wouldn't be this over-protective.''

at this point, i was at the top of the stairs and i really didn't want to listen to david right now. so i quickly brushed my teeth and my hair, before changing into a pair of sweats and a plain white tee.

i tiredly climbed into bed and smiled, knowing that this was actually going to happen.
