the next day everything was like usual. woke up, looked like shit, took a shower, ate breakfast, same old same old.

i'd just texted autumn to come over so we could discuss more about the whole moving in together situation.

it's been two days and both our parents haven't even suspected anything. either that, or we haven't suspected that they've suspected something. does that even make sense? i don't even know.

the doorbell rang and my older sister, mali-koa, shouted from her room to OPEN THE DOOR. mum isn't home. dad isn't as well.

i looked down to realize that i was just wearing sweats and a kurt coabin tank. meh, it's not like autumn's never seen me dressed like this.

my hand pulled open the door and i saw autumn, david and felicity.

"hey." i smiled nervously. oh gosh not this again. my emotions are just taking over me right now. autumn looking as beautiful as ever (not that she's never beautiful). she wore a graphic design tee with the superman logo on it, blue denim shorts, and white converse.

her dip dyed cherry red hair was let down, with a flower crown on top of her head.

"hey. my mum asked me to bring them along with me so... here we are." she pointed to the three of them. felicity looked up at me and shot me her cute toothy grin. i grinned at her, bending down to her height.

"hello!" she greeted me cheerfully. a chuckle escaped my lips as i ruffled her hair, causing her face to scrunch up in annoyance.

i stood up again and gave david a small smile. to be honest, david kinda' scared me. he had prominent collar bones, strong arms, he had that look on his face like 'i'm not afraid to hurt you'.

''hi guys." mali said from the top of the stairs. fel rushed towards her, with david trying to keep up behind his little sister.

"so, do they know?" fall whispered over to me. i shook my head, 'no'. "not a clue."

"come on. let's go." she giggled, dragging me back upstairs. cue the tingles. all these years, i've liked autumn. in fact, love. love is a powerful word and feeling. i started liking her when we were 6. fucking 6. might be too young. but as my 6 year old thought at that time, SHE'S REALLY PRETTY.

fall placed my laptop on her lap and found the page we were at yesterday. the apartment wasn't too big, neither was it too small. i suppose it was just nice for the both of us.

''i really think we should go for this." she stated, and i nodded in agreement. ''YOU TWO ARE PLANNING ON MOVING IN TOGETHER?" mali shouted from my bedroom doorway.

i flopped back on my bed, my hands covering my face. probably not the smartest thing to do. but hey, what do you expect me to do.

''um... yes?" fall said, but the sentence itself came out more like a question. ''this is amazing!" mali squealed, running over to hug us both.

fall looked over to me and mouthed, ''thank god.''

''autumn? cal?" a small voice called out to us. mali pulled away and left the room shortly after. felicity held a piece of paper in her hand.

"come in!" i welcomed her and i lifted her onto my lap. "whatcha got there kiddo?" fall asked, holding the paper in her own hands now.

"i drew this at home for both of you."

it was a drawing. a drawing of me, fall, and felicity. it's pretty darn cute, i have to admit. ''this is better than the turtle story you wrote for class when we were six." fall stiffled a laugh and i did my famous pout, playfully hitting her arm.

"it was good!'' i argued back, and fel tugged at the hem of my shirt. "can you tell me that story?" she begged, her eyes wide, and her bottom lip quivering.

not the eyes. not the fucking eyes.

"okay, okay! just... stop with the eyes.'' i covered my eyes and i could hear fall chuckling from beside me.

''yayyy!!!" fel cheered, hugging my waist even more. "okay..." i started off. at this point, fall was already laughing her ass off. i mean , come on. it's not that bad. besides the fact that it was horribly, gramatically incorrect. other than that, it was a great story.

"once-"

"nuh uh." fall cut me off. i sighed, knowing that she wanted me to say it the same way i wrote it.

"onece a pon a time, there was a turtle how lived in side a big big cave and had no family. it had a hard shell. it was my turtle. in the cave, it had a dark cave too. it was too dark you colden't see, becase the turtle was so small, it was smalla than a bug. the turtle laid an egg. today or tomorrow, it had a bom on it and it blowd up. the end."

by the end of it, fel was giggling uncontrollably and fall was still laughing her ass off. so was i.

"cal, i can write better than you." fel stated, making fall laugh harder.

"BURNN!!!" fall shouted, while both of them fell back onto the bed still laughing.

god, i love them. i love autumn.
