ACT II SCENE XXXIX
PHRIXUS
THEY WAITED for almost an hour when the bass stopped thumping against the walls in the opposite alley. Jorge darted forwards to the window to look out again, adjusting his bag strap over his shoulder then pulling out a sword from his belt.
"Okay, muchachos." He turned to look at them. "You know the plan."
Everyone started to get up and Cassandra checked that her pistol was secured to her belt. She drew her katana, the blade making a satisfying sound as it scraped lightly against its scabbard. The Gladers all held weapons in their hands as they gathered in a circle just before the door. Minho stood in the lead and turned around to address them.
