Chapter Ten

I woke up, hearing my mom call me for school. I sighed softly and laid there before opening my eyes. I then smiled seeing L was still there. "Aw. So cute." I smiled and tried removing his arms that were wrapped around my waist. I giggled and poked his cheek. "L. Can you let me go?" I asked but he didn't wake. "Hm.. I know!" I said. "L~. There is some sweets waiting for you." I said and his eyes opened. "I can't believe that worked." I said, quite surprised. He just chuckled and sat up, bring me with him. "L." I giggled. "Hm?" He looked at me. "Let go please." I asked. "But what about my sweets?" He asked. "I lied to get you up. Sorry." I said. He shook his head and kissed me. "There." He smiled. "Keki! Hurry up!" My mom yelled and my door was flung open. Standing in the doorway was none other then my mother. "Keki. Explain this to me at once." She said, pointing at us. "Nothing mom get out!" I screetched and pushed her out, slamming the door shut. "Open this door now ane explain yourself!" I heard her yell fom the other side. "Stay here L." I whispered and ran into my bathroom, got changed, and ran back out. "Out the window we go." I smiled and dragged him. "Come on Stitches." I said to the shinigami. "Wait we have to be careful." L said. "Calm down. As long as our names aren't in a death note we should be fine." I said and jumped out the window. I landed on the grass but I stumbbled a bit. He jumped down after me while Stitches went through the wall. "Run!" I giggled and grabbed his hand, running down the street as my mom yelled after us.

I stopped by the schools gate, panting from the long run. "Sorry about that." I said to L. "It's fine." He smiled and I couldn't help but also smile. "See you later at HQ?" He asked and I nodded. We hugged and he kissed my forehead before walking off. I watched him for what seemed like forever and then I heard the schools bell. "Oh no! I'm late!" I said and started running into the building.

I walked on the sidewalk, deep in thought about random things. I got to the cross walk and stepped on it. I heard a cars horn and I lifted my head, seeing a car coming at me. I felt someone grab my arm and I was pulled out of the way before getting hit. "Hey where is your head today?" He asked. "Oh.. I don't know." I shrugged, pulling my arm free. I looked above his head at his name and how long he has left to live. "What..." I mumbled to myself. "Hm? What are you looking at?" He asked, turning around. I felt a soft breeze but it didn't come from the wind. I looked at his back and thought I saw an outline of wings. "Its nothing. Sorry." I smiled and started walkie my away. "Stitches. Follow him." I said quietly. He gave a toothy grin, "Will do." He said and flew off to follow him.

"I'm home mom!" I yelled. "Keki come into the kitchen please!" She called and I sighed, walking into the kitchen. She stood in the kitchen, making dinner while talking to my dad. "Hi dad.." I mumbled. "Keki explain to me what you were doing with whoever that was this morning?" My mother asked. "Nothing like that mom gosh!" I yelled, cheeks a bright red. "He came to visit me yesterday and we fell asleep." I mumbled. "What happened?" My dad asked, confused. "Nothing.." I sighed, walking up to my room.

I locked my door and sat down at my computer, turning it on. I looked up demons on Google. I looked at the wiki of it and then Stitches decided to scare me. "I'm so going to kill you one day Stitches." I growled at him. "What did you find out?" I asked. "Well he has some sort of powers." He said. "He might be a demon." I said. "Look at what I found." I said, waving him over and read it out loud. "A demon is a creature who hides among humans. Their wings and horns are hidden from humans but other demons, or angels, can see them. There are sometimes half angels and half demons, but they are illegal." I finished. "I did see something.. An outline of something." I said. "But it said only other demons or Angels can see them." Stitches said. "I don't know!" I yelled throwing my hands up. "I'm going to the store. Wanna come?" I asked him and he nodded. I left my computer on and left my room and house.

"Isn't that the dude again?" I said to Stitches. "Hey your that girl from before." He said. "Yeah- What the wings." I said, looking at his wings. He looked at me before dragging me behind a building. "Don't just randomly say I have wings half blood!" He snapped. "Half blood?" He tilted my head. "Geez did you just find out you had wings or something?" He sighed and I nodded. "Well that explains just about everything." He said. "Yeah.. I started seeing wings after you saved me." I said. "Come on. We'll go to where half bloods live." He said. "How do you know where that is? I don't even know where it is and I'm a half blood." I laughed. "My mom was a half blood.." He said softly, taking off. "Hope you can fly half blood!" He called. "Oh yay.. Stitches anything you can tell me?" I asked. "Nope. Lets go." He said, flying off. "Well thanks a lot." I grumbled, looking at my wings before having a shaky flight after them.
