"I know what it means," said Elios joyfully. I won't deny it that Elios looks so cute when he's talking happily. He reminded me of the cute puppy. I couldn't help not to smile.

"Really?!" suddenly, Komui raised from his disappointment. There's a spark of hope lit up his eyes.

"Yes, this writing is written in my mom's secret box. When I was a  child, mom used to tell me about this box to keep our secret safe," said Elios.

"Then, it probably means that secret box holds some clue about the innocence," I and Elios looked at each other in excitement, as if we got inspiration.

"So, where's that box right now?" asked Komui enthusiastically.

"It is in my home, stored in a secret place behind the brick wall. I can't explained it well with words, but I know the exact place," explained Elios while gesturing with his hands.

"Then, we should retrieve it soon, before the others realize this. Sir Komui, we both should go back to our home," realizing the situation we're in, I insisted Komui. I was afraid if that box fell to the Noah's hand instead.

"I understand that we need to have it soon, but it's too dangerous for you both to get back there after what happened to you," said Komui in concern. Well, I supposed that Komui was right. Nevertheless, I thought that it will be more time saving and convenient if I and Elios, who knew the exact location, to obtain the box.

"But, sir, I bet that it will be more efficient if we go. There's no time to waste, isn't there? Also, about our safety, you don't need to worry cause we can protect our self well and we have our kind neighbors in Manarola who can help us," said Elios exactly the way I would say. Elios surely thought the same way as I did as if he could read other's mind. I began to suspect that Elios could really do mind reading, since he's always keen to knew other people's though. But, it doesn't matter anyway.

"Yes, I agree with Elios," I nodded eagerly to Elios' comment.

Komui placed his thumb and index finger on his chin, rubbing them against each other while drowned in deep thought, just like a detective amid solving a mystery.

"Okay, you may go. However, to assure your safety, I will send ask Kanda and Allen to accompany you, since they're currently near Manarola to do their mission. Remember, you shouldn't go anywhere without them, since it you'll never know when danger will come," said Komui seriously.

After that, Komui gave us a little brief. He told us to wait for Kanda and Allen at the train station right after we arrive at Manarola. Komui also suggested us to flee if we're about to be in danger. When Komui finished talking, Elios and I nodded in synchrony.

The next day, I and Elios went to Manarola by the morning train. Since the journey took some hours, we fell asleep on the train. When we arrived, Elios woke me up and told me to get ready to get off the train.

After getting off the train, I was welcomed by the familiar vibe of Manarola. The smell of the sea lingered in the air every time I exhale and the sun rays gently kissed my skin. Just when I get back here, I realized how much I missed being at home with Elios and Alessa. Although it haven't even been a week, I missed this place so much. I missed the time we all spent time together at the sea, fishing the fishes for dinner, and playing in the sea under as our skin getting sunbathed.

I avert my gaze to Elios. I could saw his face brightened up by a gentle smile on his lips as he enjoy being back at his hometown. I'm sure that Elios missed this place more than I did, since this was where all his memories belongs in. I guess we both had been through a lot these days so that a little thing such as going back to Manarola touched our heart.

I suddenly remembered that we need to wait for Kanda and Allen at the train station. I told Elios about it and he suggested us to wait for them while sitting on the bench. When we're waiting on the bench, suddenly I heard a loud grumble from Elios' stomach. Realizing this, Elios flustered in abash. He must be very hungry since we haven't got our breakfast before going here.

"Hey, I gonna get some food for us, okay. You just wait here, Lia," said Elios while pointing to a food stall far across us. I noticed that he tried to hide his flustered face with his hand. I nodded and he left quickly. I bet he's still embarrassed about it. I finally let out my chuckle, finding his expression so funny.

While waiting for Elios, I took a brief glance on my surrounding, hoping that I could found Kanda and Allen in the midst of crowd. However, all I saw were crowds of stranger that were busy with their own importance. In the middle of observing, my eyes landed on a kid amid the crowd. That kid was about to cry when I saw him. He must be lost, I thought. I should help him because I knew that being lost was unpleasant. So, I stood from the bench and went to the child.

"Hi, are you okay?" I asked sincerely. I bent my knees to matched his height.

"I'm lost. Help me, sister," said the kid while sobbing.

"It's okay, I'll help you. Look at me, don't cry anymore okay?" I gently petted his head to comfort him. His cry finally subsided. Slowly, he raised his head and look at me.

When his eyes met with mine, my instinct suddenly sent me alert of danger. I had keen intuition, that's why I knew in one glance that something's wrong with this kid. His eyes were dull and lifeless, as if he's no longer himself. His gaze sent chills to my spine. I stood up and staggered backward from the child, preparing what will come next. It turned out my intuition was right. Suddenly, that kid transformed into a creature resembling a giant hybrid of grenade and canon. In the middle of it's body, there was a face with a black pentagon on the forehead.

The crowd started to panicked. Trying to protect themselves, everyone ran from the giant creature. One word that I can use to described this situation was chaos. Everything was just alright when we arrived, but suddenly it turned into huge turmoil. Suddenly, Elios crossed my thought. I need to find him right now.

Suddenly, my head hurts so much as if it's splitting into two. I loose my step and fell to the ground. At this short moment before the creature attacked me, fragments of memories flashed inside my mind. I saw Kanda's face, eyes filled with tears while holding my limp body in his embrace. His hand caressed my face gently as if he's treating a fragile porcelain. He told me not to leave him with a very sad expression on his face. His tears broke my heart. It hurts so much to saw him cry. I slowly lifted my arms to reach his beautiful face one more time.

My flashback ended just when the creature began to shoot their purple illuminated bullet. There's no enough time for me to escape this attack anymore. So, I braced my heart and set on my defense by guarding my body with both of my hand.  However, I didn't felt any impact. I cautiously opened my eyes.

My heart beats faster as I found out what's happening. I saw a man with a katana, slicing the creature into two easily. His long blue pony tailed hair was familiar and so with his lotus earring that matched with mine. It was no other than Kanda Yuu. After sheathed his katana, he ran toward me with worry all over his face. Slowly, he bent down and held my face with both of his hand. My heart went faster as his touch left mark on my face. I stared deeply into his beautiful blue eyes, but all I saw were sadness and fear. It reminded me of the flashbacks I had, where Kanda's sadness broke my heart. And yet, he's making the same sad expression.

My heart ached so bad. I couldn't took it any longer. I reached my hands out and pulled Kanda to my embrace.
