We need a new queen.

Unease rippled through Mirage as she watched her mother step onto her throne. It had been three weeks since she had killed several dragons in the arena but guilt still weighed heavily on her shoulders.  She had wanted nothing other than to be her mother's top guard and maybe general, she wanted it because she wanted to prove that she was a good guard. She didn't just want to be a higher rank due to her royal blood.

She sighed, dragging herself to her mother's side. Queen Hawk sat on her throne, yawning as she waited for any visitors or any announcements from her citizens. Mirage's siblings sat beside her, Desert and West. As she waited for any dragon or guard to even pass by the kingdom. As the boredom carried through each royal member, Mirage's thoughts flew on. She remember the scars she had given these poor dragons.

She remembered the shock that had rippled through the SeaWing as she stabbed her in the heart. She remembered the pain that fired inside of Tempest's eyes, though they had started to meet up a few times at a town called Seashore, which had every tribe known in Pyrrhia. But most importantly she remembered the queen, the way her arm just hung around, the way she had just fallen to the ground.

"Well, it looks like no one is coming in today," the queen stated, looking confused yet relieved. "How about we spend some family time?" she asked, looking rather pleased with herself.

Mirage shot to her feet. 'How could you say that? What if something bad is holding dragons back from the castle?' she thought bitterly. "What if someone is in trouble?" she asked, challenging her mother.

"SandWings are strong and clever, they'll find a way out of it." Desert said as Queen Hawk nodded in agreement with her daughter.  Mirage snapped back at her sister, looking confused and troubled. "What if it's a dragonet?" she asked.

The queen stared at her daughter. "There is obviously no threat and you just want a reason for us to go away," she spat.

"Even our dragonets aren't that stupid." Desert continued blindly. "How can you be so stupid?" Desert's sister questioned. "You'll never be queen at this rate," Mirage muttered underneath her breath as she looked outside. 'I'm going to check this out, even if there is no threat we have to be sure.' She wondered, watching the main entrance of the large castle with an anxious look.

Tempest dragged her feet as she walked through the town known as Seashore. It was rather warm which was uncomfortable on her scales as she was an IceWing. She walked past several homes, (one of which she owned), restaurants, shops, doctors and all sorts of things. She pulled her exhausted self home.

Tempest had decided to move to this town to avoid the troubles of moving back into the Ice Kingdom.  She, Mirage and Hurricane had met here many times before too, they had become close friends despite being from different tribes.

However, living in Seashore didn't change her that much. She was still insanely loyal to Queen Polar and a bit grouchy at times.  She looked up at the doorway, stepping in as she sighed.

"Well, this is depressing," she muttered as she looked around at her home. It wasn't quite big, she had her kitchen, her "living room" and her bedroom. She didn't mind at all though, as she was only one dragon.

Tempest took out a scroll and laid down on her polar bear carpet she had taken with her.

She unrolled the scroll just to see the heading - "IceWings" "Crap, wrong scroll." She huffed as she dropped the scroll about IceWings.

She frowned slightly, memories flooding into her brain as she remembered the days before she went to prison. She was in the first circle along with her two best friends, Subzero and Crystalline. And then she attempted to murder an IceWing named Shard. She was unsuccessful, with the murder, but she was glad about it. She had regretted that moment of her life for so long now.
