I looked out into my back hard to see a large truck backing into it.
"Scooter, what are they doing?" I asked
"Setting up the stage" he said.
"Stage?"
"Oh of course, how else would we have the gender of you and Austin's child revealed?" He chuckled. He made his way outside to direct the people.
Today was the day of the baby shower, Austin was out getting drinks, and I was watching from the window. This party was definitely going to be huge. Obviously all of the families were invited but since we moved out to California we've acquired a lot of friends. There was easily over 600 people attending. Thankfully my house had a very large yard. Austin and I had broke the news to our families, they were both thrilled, besides my dad of course, but he's irrelevant. Eneesa and Eniyah were coming, thank god I haven't seen them in over a year.

When Austin finally got home, I didn't feel so alone anymore. No one was here yet, everyone was either in a hotel or Airbnb.
"Wow" Austin said, staring out the window that I was looking out of.
"I know, very over the top" I chuckled.
"You deserve over the top" he said turning towards me. He held my small waist between his hands. He kissed my forehead gently. I looked up at him, he cupped the side of my face in his hand and leaned down and kissed me passionately. He brought his hands down to my butt, picked me up and wrapped me around his waist. He brought me over to the table set me down and lifted my shirt up.
"Damn ma" he said, licking his lips and examining my body. I immediately felt the need to hide, ever since my weight gain I've felt severely self conscious about myself. He attached his lips to my neck, warning soft moans from me.
The door bell ring, I tried to get up but Austin held me down.
"They can wait" he moaned in my ear and continued to kiss on me. I smiled and intertwined my fingers through his curly hair. He placed his hands on my upper thighs. The doorbell rung again. I laughed and pushed him off of me. I jumped off the table. I made my way to the door, Austin slapped my butt as I walked away, earning laughs from both of us. I opened the door to see Eneesa and Eniyah standing in front of me. We all squealed and jumped around in circles.
"How are you?"
"What's it like living here?"
"Are you so excited?"
"We missed you"
"We have so much to tell you"
They both said. They were going on and on, overwhelming me with questions and statements.
"So where's my friends?" Austin said pitching in. Eneesa and Eniyah both gave him a hug.
"They should be out in the car" Eneesa said. They were still neighbors. Austin made his way outside and met up with his friends.
"Okay so what are you wearing?" Eneesa said. I smiled.
"I haven't picked anything out" I chuckled. They both looked at me shocked, and dragged me up to my room.
They picked me out a few outfits since I was doing a performance, they wanted me to have outfits to change into, which I thought was a little much but whatever.

"Okay, so scooter says I have to do this whole performance thing, and somehow in the process the gender will be revealed, so I'm just going to go along with it" I said into the mic. Everyone laughed. There were so many people here, I literally thought I was at a concert.
"This is a new song, like, really new, I hope you like it" I said and the music started.
