You took me in your arms,
You took away my pain and tears,
And you told me those words,
"You are saved, you are mine now."
You delivered me from the power of darkness,
And you mended me, making me whole again.
You took away the rags of my filthiness,
And clothed me in the robe of Your righteousness,
Giving me life everlasting in You.
Your blood cleansed my sins,
Your blood washed me white.
Your grace defeated my guilt,
Your grace gave me hope.
You were struck, You were spat at,
You were mocked, You were chained,
You were whipped, You were stripped,
You were nailed, You were crucified,
All because of my sins, O Lord? 💔
