My hands are sweating not because I'm feeling hot but because Aiden is sitting dangerously close to me and his face a spitting image of red hot piece of coal. He is damn handsome but more handsome when he is angry.
"You're really testing my patience Hazel." He says. I protest,"My name is Stella, S-T-E-L-L-A, Stella, so why do you call me that?"
"Actually, I know your name is Stella but I like calling you Hazel because that is the colour of your eyes." I blush listening to this. No one has ever given me a pet name no wonder Matthew said he is liked by women.
"I think I should leave." I say standing up. He catches my left wrist and pulls me so I turn and fall directly at him. Our faces are almost touching and both of our breathing quickens. "You havent yet told me how you got hurt. So spill or else I'll have to call Matthew." He says, his voice firm.
I sit down beside him and let out a big sigh. He hasn't let go of my wrist, I don't know why. I think of some lie and say," I slipped and crashed into the window of my house." I say.
"Tell me the TRUTH Hazel." He says. "This is the truth." I say."Truth!" He says a bit angry.
"How do you know I'm lying?"I ask."Simple" he says, "When you lie, your pulse increases and so did yours when you told me about the window incident and also you took time before answering." I stare at him shocked, how does he know so much? As is teading my thoughts he says,"I'm a doctor I've to know these things." That's when it clicks why he didnt leave my hand.
"You have a boyfriend right?" "Yes?....Who told you that?" I ask. "Duhh... your brother, ofcourse" he says like the most obvious thing in the world.
"Does he know about this?" He asks."No." I say abruptly snatching my hand away."Huh.. again a lie, dont you get it you cant lie to me?" Heshakes his head in disbelief."I can't even think about it, your boyfriend knows and he still let you alone here and drive all by yourself and didnt even take you to the doctor?!" If only he knew he was the one who threw it at me.
"This is the last time I'm asking you are you telling me or I go and call Matthew?" He says. "I'll tell you but you have to promise me not to tell anything about this to Matthew" I say.
He shanked his head in agreement and then I tell him what exactly happened.
After I finish this he says only one word "UNBEALIVEABLE"
