Chapter 5 - The Date

     In Walker's inner world. He stands there panting. His armor becomes engulfed in flame and starts changing. After the armor finishes changing the flames disappear. Susan looks at him. She asks: "So this is the next level?" He responds: "Yep. The others are barely are even touching their true potential." She asks: "I was wondering when you and Danny did that combo attack, how much power did you put into the attack compared to him?" He answers: "Danny is powerful, more powerful than the others. He put all the power he had into that attack. Me on the other hand. If I put too much power into that attack, Danny would've been hurt. So, I put about a quarter of flame emissary's power at the time into it." Susan questions: "What do you mean 'at the time'?" Walker sighs and replies: "This new form increased my power, which means that the scale of power that was used in that attack changed. The power I used is now at an eighth of my full power." Flame asks: "During the fight, I noticed you stopped the energy successor from using the other's power, is it due to the fact you knew the terra successor was being imitated?" Walker nods. Susan inquires: "How long have you known he wasn't Adisa?" Walker says: "When I was changing into my school uniform I looked at everyone's auras. I saw a green aura around Danny, Blue around Maiko, Black around Melani, Sophia has yellow, Aline with pure white, and When I looked at Adisa's was a weird color, Kind of purplish. Then I looked at yours and noticed you had a regular aura, but some Adisa's was a part of yours. At that moment I saw a brown aura heading towards us, I figured it out then." Susan was about to speak when Walker says: "If you're going to say something about him, don't worry about it. The only thing that remains of him is memories." She gives him a confused look. Walker explains: "Remember when I had you guys chained up? I activated absolute destruction and touched your head, that destroyed his hold over you, and when I touched your lips with my finger, I destroyed every mark he left on you." Susan looks at him in wonder. Walker returns to normal and sits down. Incinerator says: "You have trained well. luckily you set the time to match the real world." Susan asks: "Why is that lucky?" He explains: "As you know Walker can adjust the flow of time here. While it does allow for better training, it also has a side effect." Susan questions: "What is the side effect?" Walker chimes in: "If I set the flow for a long period, for example, 100 years per hour, the time will be added to my years. meaning when I leave, I'll be 800 years older." she was speechless. Walker lays back and puts his hands behind his head and says: "I have no reason to do that though, not yet at least." she says: "I hope it won't come to that." walker says back: "Same." Flame speaks up: "I would hope not since you two are bonded now, it will happen to you as well. You really should've asked some questions before doing something you have no idea about." Susan lowers her head and Walker laughs. Susan asks: "Does that mean if he dies I will die?" Flame responds: "No. Your life will not be affected." Walker says: "We should probably wake up soon." Flame says: "You still have some time left, five minutes to be precise." Susan asks: "What should we do for the last five minutes?" Incinerator, who has been lying down all this time, gets up and says: "I don't care what you do, I'm going to my cave. Later kids." He starts heading to the mountains. Flame says: "I'll come back and let you know when time is up." Flame spreads her wings and takes off. Susan questions: "What do we do now?" Walker responds: "We can do one of two things. We can wake up right now, or we can cuddle until Flame comes back." Susan says: "I thought you were gonna suggest... Never mind." Walker smiles and asks: "You thought I was gonna say sex didn't you?" Susan nods. Walker sits up a bit and says: "One day, I will take you. The question is when do I feel like doing it." Susan smiles as he lays back down. She lays down next to him and cuddles with him. Five minutes pass and Flame comes back. She speaks: "It's time to return you two. before you go, let me see how far the mark has come Walker." Walker stands up and removes his shirt. skin falls off and disintegrates revealing more lines. Susan watches in shock. She asks: "Will that happen every time?" Flame responds: "Every new form he gets, more lines will appear." Walker says: "Relax, the power I was talking about won't be until I get to Incinerator's power. That will be some time from now." He puts his shirt back on and continues talking: "We need to wake up. After all, we do have a date today." Walker sprouts his wings and lays back down. Susan cuddles him and he wraps his wings around her. They close their eyes and wake up in Walker's room.
