An alarm on Walker's phone goes off. Susan reaches over and shuts it off. She states: "Alarms are annoying." Walker says: "True, but you can't deny that they're useful. Now that we're awake we should get dressed and get some breakfast." She nods in agreement. They change into regular clothes and head into the kitchen. He cooks up a standard breakfast, eggs, bacon, sausage, hashbrowns, and toast. After he finishes cooking he sets two plates on the table, one in front of Susan and the other in front of him. She takes a bite and her face shows an expression of pure bliss. She asks: "Where did you learn to cook like this?" He responds: "While I was gone. It was either learn to cook or starve to death." She questions as she lowers her head: "Did you cook like this the day you went back to school?" He replies: "Yeah, I also made my lunch that day." He comments: "I did miss your cooking while I was gone." She lifts her head and perks up a bit. She inquires: "What are we doing today?" He answers: "I have the meeting with the landlord of that apartment today. After that, I was thinking of going to visit Maria." Walker's phone goes off. He answers the phone: "Hello?" The voice on the other side asks: "Hello, is this Walker Price?" He responds: "Yes this is." The person says: "We are calling to inform you of Maria Price's condition." He asks: "Did it get worse?" the person responds: "Actually it's the opposite, her condition has improved to the point that she doesn't need to be admitted any more." He says with happiness in his voice: "Really that's excellent. I have to run an errand today so I can stop by and pick her up if that's alright." The person asks: "What time will you be able to pick her up?" He replies: "My appointment is at 12 so 11 o'clock should be good." The person says: "We'll see you then. Goodbye." He says back: "Bye." Susan asks: "Who was that?" He responds: "It's someone from the hospital calling about Maria. her condition has improved to the point where she no longer has to be admitted!" She exclaims in excitement: "Really that's great news!" He states: "We'll be getting her before we meet with the landlord. So we'll be leaving at 10:30, and after we pick her up, we can get something to eat, then head to the meeting." she smiles and says: "Sounds like a plan." They finish eating and watch T.V. in his room until it's time to leave. 10:30 comes around and they leave.

On the way, Susan states: "I haven't heard or seen anything about Maria since your birthday." Walker sighs and says: "Apparently after I disappeared, her condition took a turn for the worse." She asks: "When did she start to get better?" He shrugs. She says while smiling: "It'll be nice to see her again." He smiles and says: "Yeah, it will." They arrive at the hospital and walk inside. Inside they see a girl in a pink dress, that's a little short and sandals that barely fit sitting in a wheelchair. The girl notices the two and calls out: "Big bro, Susan over here!" They walk up to her and Walker says: "How are you feeling?" Maria smiles and says: "Better than I ever have." Susan asks: "When did you start getting better?" Maria responds: "After Big bro visited me on Thursday." Susan looks at Walker and says: "I want the full story on the ride to the meeting." He says: "Alright." A doctor walks up to them and asks: "Is one of you Walker Price?" Walker steps forward and says: "That would be me." The doctor says: "Good, come with me and you can sign her release papers." Walker follows the doctor to an office and signs some papers. The doctor says after Walker finishes signing papers: "Alright. That's all the papers, she's good to go home." Walker says: "Thanks Doc." The doctor says: "No problem." Walker walks back to Susan and Maria and says: "We're good to go." Susan and Maria smile. He looks at Maria and says: "After the meeting, we'll go get you some clothes that fit." Maria says: "Alright. Sounds good." Walker grabs the handles of the wheelchair and pushes her out of the hospital and to the car. Susan helps her into the car while Walker returns the wheelchair. Walker returns to the car and gets in the driver's seat. He checks the time and says: "It's almost time for the meeting. We'll have to get something to eat after we get Maria some new clothes." Susan says: "That fine with me. I can help her get some underwear while we're there." She looks at Maria and asks: "They're a little tight aren't they?" Maria nods her head in embarrassment. Walker sighs and says: "That's fine. Let's get going." He puts the car into gear and pulls out of the parking lot. On the way, Maria asks: "So what is this meeting about?" Walker replies: "It's to meet up with a landlord about an apartment. This way I can be away from him." She asks: "Is it alright if I stay with you?" Walker looks at Susan and asks: "Is it alright with you?" Susan agrees. Walker looks at Maria through the rearview mirror and replies: "It's fine with us." She asks: "What do you mean us?" Susan raises her hand and shows Maria the ring. They discuss it as Walker drives to the complex. They pull into a spot and meet up with the landlord. The landlord shows them a four-bedroom two-bath apartment for 800 and a three-bedroom two-bath apartment for 600 a month with utilities. After thinking about it and discussing it with Susan, he decides on the three-bedroom two-bath apartment. They go to an office and sign a lease and arrange a date for them to move in. Walker shakes the landlord's hand and the three return to the car. Walker pulls out of the complex and heads to a mall.
