Chaeyoung POV

Mon 10 am

"Jisoo I need ideas, I'm really stumped here." This project is actually killing me. Why is artist block a thing?

"Oh how about instead of using just one category use all, art using all the mediums you could possibly use, that way you'll have a wide spectrum and not restricted to one thing, I think that's why you're so frustrated, you feel like you can't breathe. Am I right?" 

This is why I hired her.

"With everything that's going on I guess I do feel that way. But unnie, how the hell do you do that. I mean we barely talk a lot about my personal life but somehow you still get it." Maybe it's because I pay her to know everything going on in my life without talking about it, poor girl.

"We have been working together for like three years now Chae, I know a lot about you, like right now I think you need a drink." I'm never firing her.

"Oh we could call that girl Jihyo told you about, a fresh face is always good." She suggested while pouring my drink, which she really shouldn't be doing, ugh i'm a terrible boss. I get up to go help her when I get a message, I ignore it however.

"Lemme help you out, do you want one?" I ask her, and my phone keeps buzzing.

"Yes please but I also think you should answer your phone."

"It can wait." I pour it for her and turn away while I drink my scotch. While doing so I take a look at my phone to see who the messages are from.

As soon as I see the name Mina I choke on my drink spitting it on to the ground.

"What the hell are you ok?!" Jisoo patted my back trying to make me feel better, I gestured to her to let her know I'm ok.

"I'll get a mop then" She said with traces of worry still in her voice.

"Hey, call that aussie while you're at it" I managed to cough out.

Mina:

Hey Chaeyoung

I was wondering if I could talk to you

Only if you're free though I don't wanna bother you

Oh wow, I never thought she would message me.

"I got the mop and I spoke to the aussie girl model person. Now tell me why you almost died please." My throat still burning from that episode, I reluctantly answered.

"The message was from Mina, my old arch nemesis who is now nice to me. I don't remember if I told you but we kinda made up and now it's all awkward because we basically flirted with each other at a bar, not knowing who we were flirting with." I coughed a little bit after briefly explaining the past events.

Jisoo just stood there with her mouth agape not knowing what to say, I don't blame her.

"Alright, um how about I arrange with the model girl maybe that might help." She shrugged her shoulders in hope of making me feel better. She's really such an angel.

"Thank you Jisoo, that'll help. Remind you to raise your pay" She deserves it.

"I'll be getting back to work. OH at about 1pm those art school students are coming to see your museum. Also those models from rainbow bridge are coming to shoot, remember you're letting them use, I think JB as their designer."

"Thank you for the reminder, I won't get drunk today don't worry."

She walked out and got ready for her long day with a weird start.

I should message Mina back, or should I call her? No no i'll just reply to her message.

ME:

Sure, I'm at the office right now so if you wanna come I'll definitely make the time.

SO, so far I've got 5 ideas that make no sense. The whiteboard in front of me looks like hell.

First we have 'EARTH'........... That's it.

Then 'Meaning of Life' but that involves way too much thinking.

'Strawberry' I don't think I need to say anymore.

'Distortion' because I think I need to let my chaotic mind free.

'Chaeyoung World', if i'm gonna be using all mediums possible, this is the way to go no doubt. It's also an easy way to fully express myself and be vulnerable but not afraid to show it. However that's pretty scary.

But what the hell do I choose.

"CHAEYOUNG YOU HAVE TWO VISITORS I'M SENDING THEM UP" I heard Jisoo yell from the intercom.

"Two?" Wait, oh crap.

My elevator doors open to reveal my model and my awkward old arch nemesis who I think I have a crush on.

"Um hi ladies, what a surprise!" I said with a constipated/confused look on my face.

They both bowed and I did the same. I gestured for them to come into the aesthetically messier side of my office where all the goofy furniture and cool appliances stood. How am I gonna do this?

"Uh I never got your name?" So unprofessional

"It's Rose" Wait- Nah. There's no way. Maybe when she takes off her mask.

"You can follow me to the other side of the room, Mina-" I caught her staring at my walls and unfinished paintings, she looked as if she was in awe.

"Oh yeah, s-sorry" she said with a small voice as if she had done something wrong. When and why did she get this timid.

"Don't apologise you can continue looking or do whatever you want here, just make yourself comfortable, I'm just gonna have a short meeting with my client." I mentally applauded myself for not stuttering.

"Yes miss Rose we can have our meeting now" I turned and strutted away pulling my hair back to give off a professional sexy vibe. As I sat down on my chair I looked at the beauty in front of me. Rose had taken off her mask and baseball cap revealing her identity. Her pink hair made me think it wasn't her but boy was I wrong.

"Do my eyes deceive me" I chuckled a bit trying to create a relaxed environment.

"It's me, I didn't want to say anything but when I saw your huge picture in the gallery I hoped for the best, then I came up to a pleasant surprise." She lightly flirted with me, tucking her hair behind her ear. I leaned on the table to let her know that I'm engaged in conversation, after all I need a good relationship with my clients.

But why do I feel uncomfortable all of a sudden.

"Can I offer you a drink?" I asked. She placed her hand on mine and whispered, "Water is fine." Oh -

"Sure" I said with a smirk. This girl is very friendly isn't she. I stand up only to be met with piercing eyes from across the room.

Why is she looking at me like that..
