I explained a lot to Janice, she was really nice. She had no clue that she lived by someone who would do such a thing. But one thing I learned over the past three months, you can't trust everyone. I had to learn that the hard way. God, I wish I didn't have to. I wish this never happened. I wish I stayed home... but I had to go out and be stupid. And now I'm sitting here hiding from my kidnapper.
Janice: You know, thinking about this won't make things change. Life has its ways like that
Ally: Yeah but what if I didn't hang out with him things would be so much different...
Janice: Now stop that! You couldn't have known and yes it may hurt, but lift up your head, things won't get any better looking back
She was right too. I knew if I kept looking back I would have that with me for a long time, but it was so hard to forget and just leave alone. His voice kept following me, the insults mostly. I had the bruises and anybody could see that, but he gave me so many mental scars too. I needed sleep. I haven't gotten any good sleep for the past, well three months. So I asked the kind woman if I could sleep here tonight and she said that would probably be for the best. So she told me to go to the guest room and get sleep, which is what I did... but then I heard talking. There was only Janice here right? Yeah. Wait, and I listened in the deep conversation Janice was having with someone. Shortly after she finished I figured out she had called 911. I didn't think about that. That's a good idea though, so he can't get to me or anybody else anymore. Then my heavy eyelids slowly started to close, and I fell asleep.
  **The Next Morning**
As I woke up, I felt so good, at least physically. I went and looked in the mirror, and it felt unbearable! I felt disgusting, weak, and disappointed in myself that I didn't stick up for myself when Luke was there. Was it true when he said nobody cared I was alive? Or was he just playing with my head? So many thought came in and out of my head. This has happened ever since last night and I didn't think it would stop anytime soon. Then I took one last look in that mirror, with my dirty clothes I wore that night I was taken, my greasy hair, and my fake smile. I fell to the ground and finally said to myself through the pain..."Is this really what you've become?"
I walked down to the kitchen to get a orange from Janice, where she told me to stay out cause cops would be on the way to investigate.
Janice: I know this will be uncomfortable, but the cops are coming to investigate in 10 minutes. They will come talk to you and talk to Luke. Once they are finished and the case is closed, you may leave.
She almost seemed like another version of my mother. I wondered how she was doing without me, I hope she was okay. I bet things were hard for her, especially after loosing my dad. Then shortly after that, the cops showed up. They came inside and a certain cop started talking to me. I read his badge, his name was Brian.
Brian: Hello. So I understand last night you escaped a kidnapper from what I've heard am I right?
Ally: Yes
Brian: And he lives near here?
Ally: Yes
Brian: I know this will be hard, but I would like you to walk us over to the condo he is staying in.
And I obeyed. I walked over by the beach and the memories flew back to me. Almost like I didn't fully escape, like I'm still trapped in his cage even if I'm free. And the memory of him taking me off this beach, and me looking out on the ocean threw the window every night, and when I escaped. Then the cops and I eventually ended up at the spot. I stopped in my tracks. Oh my god my footprints were still there, and I saw blood stains on the beach, My blood. I started to talk through my tears...
Ally: Here you go
Brian: Thank you for your cooperation, now follow us and be careful.
We all walked up to the door where Brian knocked on the door to find a hungover Luke standing there. While the cops came in, Luke slowly backed up away. And I was the last to come in, I saw it all again, there I was, back in this horrible place. Then something startling happened. Luke flung his body toward me and fell on top of me. He started punching me and yelling, lashing out on me.
Luke: LOOK WHO CAME BACK?! I WILL KILL YOU FOR THAT STUNT YOU PULLED LAST NIGHT!
Then he was tased in a instant, now seeing I had all new bruises now. He couldn't move anymore. Then after a couple hours, They looked at where I stayed, did some interviews and investigated. Finally, Luke was sentenced for life in jail. I was officially free from his reach, or so I thought.

(A/N: Agh This story is going good in my opinion! I hope y'all like it. It's my first one and I think I'm doing good. Please let me know!)
