I started taking therapy after that day, each day I got better and better after that night. I felt good about myself and about the world. I did miss my parents and I did miss my home but things got so much better once I made my change. My therapist helped a lot too, she helped me see stuff I'd never think about. And the voice, he was long gone. I was free.
**3 Months Later** (Present Day)
Kaitlyn: Ally hurry up and get changed or we'll miss the bus!
Ally: Just go on without me then I can drive!
Me and Kaitlyn were on our way to school. We got a lot closer after my experience, She was right though, and we ended up missing the bus, but I was okay with it. I got in my car, and so did Kaitlyn. We threw our backpacks in the back seat and headed to school. We turned on the radio and started talking. Finally we made it and while she goes to the classroom, I head to the bathroom. I made it there and I went to the mirror. I looked at it and I stared for a while. I remembered those things that happened to me, and it stopped phasing me now. I wasn't the same girl I used to be, I could look in the mirror and not feel pain or guilt. I looked in the mirror and felt happy and satisfied with the person I became. I knew my mom and my dad would be proud of me now, I hope they can see me. I smiled in the mirror and felt good. Then I walked to class.
**Time Skip**
(Texts between Allyson, Mom, and Dad.)
9:31 Ally: Hey Dad, Hey Mom.
9:34 Ally: I hope your all doing well, I miss you a lot. I want you to know that I'm doing great too. I finally got help and I found myself again. I want you to know that you don't need to worry anymore, it's hard here without you but I got on my feet and I have a home and a job now, Kaitlyn's family adopted me about a week ago. I know you guys can't see this but I wanted you to know that I'm doing okay.
9:36 Ally: I love you guys and I miss you so much, but I know your in a better place now.
9:37 Ally: I need to go to class now, but I wanted to let you know that I'm okay now.
9:39 Ally: Love you guys so much, goodbye.
