one week later
Los Angeles, California
Luke
A week has passed since we last saw Valentina. That night was great, we drank and danced until 3 am but we had to call it quits thanks to Michael, who ended up so drunk he couldn't even form a sentence.
Valentina left the next day, she left, this time saying goodbye and promising we'd see each other again when we're both in LA. That night we slept together, not like we had sex, no, I mean, we did sleep together, in the same bed because we both were so drunk that when we arrived at the hotel, we immediately fell asleep. It felt so nice sleeping with her, so when she wasn't with me already, I felt lonely, like she was already a big part of me. It has been great all along, I mean, it's not like I love her already or like we're a couple, but I admit I kinda feel attracted to her, and I think she feels the same way because, since the day she left, we have been texting all day long.
The day she left, the media, of course, was already full of pictures of us at the bar, there were pictures of Valentina and I dancing, drinking but thankfully there were any of us kissing. Of course, there are a lot of rumors of us dating out there, some of them saying really nice things about our "relationship" and some of them hating on it.
Anyway, two days after Valentina left Japan, we also flew to LA, where we're currently in our writing process for our next album. There are a lot of ideas, but it has been difficult all along because we're trying to find different sounds and show the world a new faucet of 5 Seconds of summer."Hey, don't forget we have this interview at BBC station tomorrow," Ashton said distracting myself for my thoughts.
"What time?" Calum asked, playing some chords on his bass.
" 10 am"
"I'm really not in the mood for interviews," I admitted. Nowadays interviews have nothing to do with our music or any related to it, its always some kind of game and questions about our personal life.
"That's what I told Richard, but he insists this is something we have to do until we came up with new music."
"Hey Luke, are you still in contact with Valentina?" Michael curiously asked. They always want to know everything about each other's lives, sometimes I feel like we don't even have secrets between each other, and we'll, that's not actually bad. After all, we're family.
"Yeah, sometimes," I answered, not bothering about it.
"Are you guys like a thing?" he continued asking, and honestly I don't care about it, it's not like we're trying to hide it, after all, Valentina and I are just friends.
"Nope. Just friends."
"Yeah, friends who fuck." Calum chuckled and I glared at him, signaling to shut up, but then Michael and Ashton looked funny at me, having all my attention.
"What?" I asked confused at his expressions.
"Oh, nothing. I mean, you're fucking Valentina Hadley and you act like it's nothing." Ashton retorted in a sarcastic way, making me cringe at his words.
"Shut up, you fucked Kylie Jenner and acted like it was nothing when we all know that's a big deal."
"Dude, what the fuck are you talking about. Kylie Jenner is nothing compared to Valentina, I mean, you fucking upgraded after the big shit you had as a girlfriend." Michael said, this time making me laugh as well. He was right, Valentina is way better than my shitty ex.
