Endis was a beautifully lush planet, rich in many resources and home to one of the grandest Empires the Universe had ever known. Their Emperor, Martin Verse, was a powerful man who has most of the people in the Universe on his side as they slowly built their mighty fleet. Martin was, of course, highly intelligent and arrogant, wanting more and more power whilst failing to acknowledge some of the People's problems. The Ravan Empire had been at war with seventeen alliance Resistance Federations, who were all vicious and building their fleets to counter the Ravan Empire. While the war was tearing apart the Universe and turning it into a deadly battleground, Martin's son, David Verse, was one of the few that can see the Emperor for who he really was. David was out in the beautiful Green Expanse, a field full of swaying grass that carried on for miles. It is here that David felt like he can finally achieve peace and take a break from the Politic System his father insisted he become a part of.
David sighed underneath the hot sun as he lay in the field, a cool gust of wind blowing over him, making the surrounding grass sway. David waited for a few moments, feeling at peace in the only place he had felt happy and at rest, and then he deeply inhaled the clean air. Lying in the tall grass with nothing to bother him, David closed his eyes, a drowsy feeling overtaking his body. David knew he was close to sleep, and then the heat suddenly disappeared. David's eyes snapped open, and instead of seeing a large cloud above him, he saw a massive black shape fill his vision. David scrambled to his feet, fully standing with the grass brushing over his waist, staring at the shape in the sky. Confusion settled over David, and then a loud screech fills his ears, making him duck low into the grass again, covering his ears with his hands. "David!" a voice cried out, and David peered up over the grass, seeing the figure of his mother charging towards him.
"How did you find me?" David asked as his mother stops in front of him, her face bearing an expression of terror. "I had two of the guards follow you here. They hid in the forest and reported to me where you were. Why I had you followed is not important at the moment. The only thing that is important at the moments is getting you off the planet!" David gaped at his mother, but she took his hand and started leading him back to the Capital Centre. "What's happening?" David asks, brushing his wavy black hair from his eyes, and his mother didn't answer. She charged him through the narrow alleyways of the Capital Centre and passed the Royal Guards outside the Capital Building. "Where is father?" David asked, and his mother shook her head as she roughly shoved him and herself into a large lift. "Our Fleet Commanders, the two of our best, were destroyed twenty minutes ago when the Resistance Federations sent a bomb into the War Sector.
"Our reserves and many other Political Officers are being kept upstairs, where you will be joining them, and your father is currently commanding our Fleet Dreadnought." David was slammed against the wall of the lift as an explosion rocks the building, and then the lift dinged loudly, the doors sliding open. David was led up a flight of steps on the right, and then his mother opened a door on his left, revealing a room packed with over forty people. "Mother..." David said slowly, staring at each person before asking, "Why did you bring me here?" David's mother bears an expression of sadness, and then indicated to the far side of the room, and the walls seemed to slide apart, revealing a massive landing pad. "There are other landing pads at the top of the building, where more people are being hurried to safety," his mother said, and David's face fell. "You're not coming, are you?" David asked, and his mother slowly shook her head. "You need to take the next journey of your life without me and your father. We will hold them off as long as we can, and go to war with these terrorists."
David shook his head, his blue eyes wide with fear and his pale face alive with panic. "Mother, I am sixteen! I cannot possibly try and lead these people!" David shouted, and this time his mother pulls him in for a quick hug, and then a loud shout from a Commanding Officer rang around the packed room. "Go, the Royal Guards will accompany you onto the Escape Shuttle, and then a separate Escape Shuttle will arrive for these people and the people upstairs." David nodded, and four Royal Guards who wore bright blue cloth and holding Eclipse Plasma Pistols surrounded him. "What will you be doing in the Capital Building?" David asked as the Royal Guards turn to face the landing pad. "I will have to go straight to the top of the Building and have to direct the main Bombing Squad while your father directs the rest of the fleet." David tried to talk to his mother more, but the Royal Guards began their quick march towards the Escape Shutting, forcing David along with them.
