Terrell had managed to drag a thunder-struck David back to the Capital Building and to his office, where Ryder saluted him outside his door. David managed to struggle into the chair behind his desk, and saw in awe, an indescribable feeling continuously passing over him. "Are you alright, sir?" Terrell asked, and David slowly nodded, his mouth slightly open as he stared in thought. Terrell turned and began to approach the metal door, but a thud made him turn to see David with his hand on the desk, evidently having just banged the desk with his fist. "It doesn't feel like I have won the honour of being President," David mumbled, and Terrell quickly took a seat before the desk, a concerned expression on his face. "We were losing politically as well as the campaign. Chad knew that. He knew if he kept up his game he was going to win, so why drop out the race?" Terrell shrugged but looked deep in thought.

"I am honestly not sure, sire. Maybe he thought you would do a better job as President then he would?" Terrell said, but upon catching David's eye, he smirked and said, "Yeah, so I do not know why he dropped out the race." David chuckled and leaned back in his chair, light dancing in his eye. "We overrule a lot now, don't we?" David said, and Terrell slowly nodded. David unclipped the hilt of his weapon from his belt and lay it on the table, staring at it in wonder. "Has the Research Facility been built as of yet?" David asked, and Terrell nodded, "Yes, Mr President. They finished over an hour ago, and in case you are wondering, they have one of those weapons. They are trying to duplicate it into other forms, like double-bladed ones. They hope they can complete this in time." David nodded slowly, multiple emotions passing through him like a hurricane. "How about Jennifer? Have we managed to find her as of yet?" David asked, and Terrell shook his head, a look of concern passing over him.

"We are trying our best, sir, but so far we have had no luck. We cannot locate Jennifer because she is keeping out of sight, but why she is hiding is beyond me." David leaned back in his chair, and then sat up almost instantly, a light glinting in his eyes. "I might know where she is. Bring up the map underneath the city. The sewer tunnels have got to be where she is hiding." Terrell nodded, got to his feet, hurried out the room, and returned with a disc moments later. He put it onto the device on the table, and the blue hologram hovered in front of David, glowing brightly. David swept his eyes over it, looked at Terrell, and quickly shut it down. "Find the 203rd Legion. I have heard their results are brilliant. They will be accompanying me down into those tunnels." Terrell looked at David with his eyebrows raised, surprised and fearful. "Mr President, who will be in charge of the city?" Terrell asked, and David chuckled, his voice warm and soothing.

"You will be in charge, at least until I manage to find Jennifer. If you are not ready for the responsibility, I will completely understand." Terrell looked lost for words, repeatedly opening and closing his mouth before quietly saying. "I am ready, sire." David got to his feet, snatching the hilt off the table, turning, and saying to Terrell, "Make sure they meet me at the entrance to the tunnels. If we are successful, we will be able to have her give answers. I believe she is innocent, let us hope that my belief is correct."

Jennifer hurried through the sewer system, the two hilts on her belt hitting her thighs with each step she took. She had never used the weapons before, except to perhaps use them to deflect the plasma bolts fired at her. Jennifer had, during her escape, managed to swipe the two blades from two of the guards. Jennifer had no idea where she was going, or what she was going to do. She did not even want to escape, but someone else had been there, with twin red blades. Jennifer was terrified and keen to escape, so she took her chance when everyone was distracted. She retreated further into the sewer tunnels, her feet dragging along the ground, and once it became too dark to see, she activated the two yellow blades, the light shining brightly. There was movement behind Jennifer, as though someone was following, and she whirled around, slashing both blades through the air. Sparks flew as they collided against the two red blades, and Jennifer stumbled backwards, the tips of her two weapons pointed at the approaching figure.
