Of course nothing can surpass what happened yesterday, especially the way I was told I was born... which was badass

By using his own god damn soul, magic, and body as the nourishment for the cocoon, it seemed as if the cocoon was me
So it formed a soul inside eventually and the cocoon started to shape into a human baby, this took hundreds of years
And after that, you got me
Not the first thing you would hear but eh, it kind of seemed badass in my opinion so I easily accepted it
So I sat there with Iruma eating the demonic food with haste like my life depended on it, the food might seem a bit... unsavory
But it's easily better than the food I had on Earth, though it wasn't saying much to be honest
"Today is your first day of class~" grandpa said with a singalong tone, the sentence made Iruma shiver but made me grin with excitement
"U-uh can I discuss something with you? It's about school..." Iruma said with nervousness laced in his tone
"Uh wait, before that, Opera" grandpa turned to Opera who snapped his fingers and suddenly all types of educational resources appeared

"I splurged a bit to celebrate the two of you starting school!" He said in his chibi form as I shook my head knowing there's no way Iruma will deny the kindness of the old man
"F-for us? But you've already spent so much..." Iruma said as he felt his walls being broken down
"Look! Opera and I even added some embroidery!" He took out two handkerchief with our signatures on it
And for the first time since a long time my heart shook as I saw all the bandages on his hands
'He really does care...'
All my life, and no one has done anything as nice as what grandpa had done
I even my felt tears swelling up in my eyes

I of course being a man, forcefully pushed the tear back into my eye, but I would forever remember the kindness of our grandpa
