Christmas Break

Yuki's POV

Well here I am sitting on the sofa while Eri is sitting on my lap.

"okay Eri, this is how you greet someone during Christmas" I said "first smile and say Merry Chrsitmas!"

"it's easy say it Eri" I said

Then I saw Eri smiled "M.... Merry Christmas!" she learned

"yay! How's that Shoto?!" I turn

"good..." Shoto barely said

"okay Eri. Christmas is a very important ocassion every year" I explain "this is where friends and family to be together..."

"together...? Like a Mommy and Daddy?" Eri pointed

"yep, but for now. Everyone here are celebrating as a class or friends" I said "and you are a part of this friendship... you're like a family to us..."

"a family? What about your Daddy, Miss Justice?" Eri asked

"oh, he's busy for now. But I bet he missed me a lot" I said

"um... what about your Mommy?" Eri asked

I paused as I became sad and a bit a bit silent.

"Miss Justice?"

"Yuki, what's wrong?" Shoto worried

I shot up "I... I'm fine" I said "sorry, the truth is Eri..."

"I... I don't have a Mommy" I said

"huh?"

"well, I never met my Mom. I only have my Dad, but even though I have him, I have my friends and even you" I said then smiled "ufufu, those people are enough for me to make me smile. As long as those people remembers you, care for you, they will always make you smile."

"that's why me... as your Hero! I'll be smiling for you tonight!"

I saw Eri smiled "ok, if Miss Justice say so, then I'll be happy as long you're happy" she said

As much as I wanted to make her happy I don't to bring my past into this occasion. Also, no one knew me never met my Mom, since...

The truth must stay hidden...

Shoto's POV

The way Yuki say she has no Mom, I remember when I 1st ask her that question... right on that very snowy day.

Flashback 10 years ago

I was wearing a blue jacket and Yuki was wearin violet sweater and gloves. It was very cold that day, back then it was very cold and snowing, Yuki and I were just sitting on floor watching the snow fall...

"Yuki?" I called

"yes?" Yuki responded

"how come I never met you Mom?" I ask

Then suddenly I saw Yuki went sad

"I only met your Dad, All Might... how come-"

".. Hic..."

I stop when I saw Yuki in tears, I hugged her when as soon as I saw her crying...

"I don't have a Mom, Shoto... hic..." Yuki said as her cascade on the wooden floor. "Dad said Mom died when I was born" she sniffle "so I never had chance to meet my Mom..."

I stroke her hair, "I didn't know... I'm sorry to ask..." I apologozed

"you don't have too..." Yuki said "it's only ok that you asked. Since a friend must know his friend more..."
