Hello! Ok so since ice is the second form of water, I decided to try Ice Skating after school. And... it was a little tricky to figure out how to stand. But when I realized that I was balancing on 1/8 of an inch blade on ice that sometimes has water. So yeah, once I realized that I just looked indifferent. And also felt indifferent. Because those standards of course it's going to be hard to stand let alone walk and glide and god forbid jumping and balancing on one leg. But I will concur with all 3 forms of water. And if I can concur the plasma form of water I will try to do it. If a plasma form of water (that is the fourth form of everything) exists. But yeah, I slowly was able to stand and walk then I started to glide. But I held the wall of course. Then once I let go I felt a sense of balance and also stability
That is surprising seeing that this was my first time skating. And I got a little too confident then I went too fast and then fell "That is the first time I fell on the ice, I deserved that." I thought struggling to get up. I realized that I had to get on one knee and get up. And then I had a wave of realization wash over me. I realized that I didn't know as much as I thought I did. But I mean I just started skating. But yeah, I felt a sense of like "I'm not good enough" seeing all these younger people skating and also doing all of these crazy jumps and spins and combinations of spins and jumps.
Then I realize again "ELLA ARA WATERSMITH THIS IS YOUR FIRST TIME SKATING! THEY HAVE BEEN SKATING FOR LIKE 8 YEARS, OF COURSE, YOU'RE NOT GOING TO BE LIKE THEM!!!" That thought made a wave no scratch that T.S.U.N.A.M.I/ TIDAL WAVE of realization of multiple things. 1. I am not going to be good overnight 2. I would probably need classes to get that good 3. I am going to be very sore after this. 4. If I am going to commit to this I might have to quit swimming and I won't be able to do that. And 5. I am going to need white skates if I can do all the crazy spins and stuff. Those are the five things that I realized. But when I dipped and touched my skates while skating I was like "Woah I can actually do this?" But I said that quietly so no one could hear. I didn't want someone who's been doing that a million times to ruin my realization. But I'm pretty sure that by the pose I was in not with straight legs and in a bending position. I'm pretty sure that isn't the most glamerous position to be in seeing how graceful other people are on the ice. But yeah, see you tomorrow. See you later. Bye.
