It takes me a few hours, but I eventually drag myself off the couch still in tears. I walk up stairs while Brian is in the middle of his shower, Hopefully he just started, I thought to myself. I grab my clothes for bed and get dressed, and crawl into bed. I lay on my back, staring up at the ceiling thinking back to the day Brian and I met. We instantly fell in love, it was like love at first site. I smile to myself, Where did it all go wrong? I think to myself. I sigh and roll onto my side, keeping my back to the bathroom door. I listen to the silence as Brian turns off the shower.
I wait another five minutes and continue to listen, he eventually walks out of the bathroom and I look over. "You were going to bed without me, Mackenzie-Boo?" He asks, I shake my head and lie.
"I was staying awake... for you, Brian-Boo." Did I stutter? I don't know, I can't tell anymore! Brian smirks and nods, and I sigh in relief. He then crawls into bed and cuddles me from behind.
"I'm sorry that I overreacted earlier today," says Brian. I sigh and say nothing, "I want to make it up to you." I turn around and face him,
"How do you expect to do that?" I ask, raising an eyebrow slightly. He smiles and looks into my eyes,
"Let me take you out tomorrow night, we haven't had a date in years." I smile and nod,
"Okay, that sounds good." He locks his lips into mine and puts his hands on my hips. Are we about to have sex again? But Brian pulls away,
"Good night, I love you." I smile at him and say,
"I love you, too." And we both fall asleep.
