Chapter 9

Maya's POV

I was waiting on Chris but he was taking to long I was hungry and needed to piss ( the struggle is real). So I got up and was about to head out the door I could believe my eyes. Chris was kissing the girl and they were smiling. They looked happy how couldn't he do this I thought we had something. My eyes burned with tears my heart broke at the sight as I kept watching. I had mixed emotions anger, sadness, betrayal I wish I hadn't don't this but it felt like the right thing to do at this point.

Chris's POV

When I saw who it was I was shocked how did she recognized me.

Jackie(hoeisha from the club)- Chris we gotta talk.

Me- Look Jackie I can't talk right(gco)

Jackie- Chris I'm pregnant

Me- Y-your what?

Jackie- I'm pregnant I'm like 1 week pregnant.

Me-Omg that great. I said and kissed her I don't know why I did it but I did. I wrapped my arms around her waist and smile into the kiss. I was gonna have baby, but I didn't seem to realize I'm with Maya. O shit, she in the movie theater right now waiting for me. Before I could pull away the door open. I saw Maya there with a tear stained face and she was sniffling. She punched me in my face and the last words I heard from her stung me. She said your just like Alex . Alex is her ex boyfriend that she had for 2 years and she didn't know for those 2 years that he had a baby and a girlfriend. When she told me that I felt absolutely horrible.

Continued Maya's POV

I was so upset and hurt I drove down the street and stopped when I saw Cj walking. I winded down the windows and calk his name he looked back and smiled he came up to the door and looked at me. His smiled faded when he realized that I had been crying he got into the passenger seat and hugged me. Idk why his comforting me we baey know each other.

Cj- What's wrong?

Me- I just wanna go home

Cj- I can drive you home and we can watch a movie and get to know each other better if that makes you feel better. He said with a weak smile and gotvou the car. I switched to the passenger seat and gave him directions to my house. We walked in the house and went to my room I grabbed shorts and a long sleeve shirt. I went in the bathroom to change and came out and Cj was laying on the bed  looking for a movie on Netflix. I layed down next to him and told him that I wanted to watch As Above So Below. Even though me and Chris were gonna see that and he ruined it I still wanted to watch it. While we watched the movie we talk to get to know each other he may look like Chris but he is very different. We have a lot in common actually. Then I finally told him what happen and cried my eyes out in disbelief. Cj just held me and paused the moving shhing me and saying everything is OK. Sleep took over me with me still crying, I hope I could forget this heartache.
