(A/N - sorry for the long wait and short chpt!)

Rhys POV

I was getting tired of our conversations, its obvious how bored and frustrated everyone was, Beron not agreeing to anything that was put forward by anyone but himself. Just as I was about to get up and walk out the doors began to open. We all turned, and my eyes widened a bit to see Nyx standing there, obviously trying to look non – plussed about the room full of High Lords.

It was obvious that she was lost so I simply said, "Next set of doors on your right, then up three flights then it's the seventh door on your left." And with that she left.

I could feel questioning eyes upon me and my other court members and slowly turned back to them.

"Are we done here?"

Suddenly the room bursts with noise, all of them, well apart from Tamlin and Helion, shouting questions as to who that was. I wait in silence until Kalias' voice rose again, "is that who I think it is?" he asked.

I simply looked at him, not sure what to say. After another moment of silence, I sighed and looked at Az, nodding for him to go and get Nyx to bring her here, causing him to vanish into his shadows.

I wait for a few minutes, not answering their questions, simply staring. As I feel them get closer to the room I stand and go to the doors, opening them for Azriel and Nyx. I give her a reassuring nod as she enters and take her arm leading her over to my seat.

I'm not an invalid, Sandy, I can actually move to an empty seat. Or I can stand... yeah, I could just stand. She mind-links to me, I simply smirk at her in response.

"This is my sister, Nyx." I state proudly to the room.

"Your sister is dead. Beheaded if I remember correctly." Beron says.

"Are you calling my High Lord a liar, Beron?" Mor responds quickly.

Nyx sits in the seat awkwardly obviously wanting to leave as soon as possible.

Noticing Tamlin for the first time in this room her face goes pale, as if remembering things, she didn't before. Before I can comfort her, I realise that Az has a reassuring hand placed on her shoulders with the shadows beginning to cover her slightly, putting her a bit more at ease.

After a while of bouncing questions that were thrown our way, I begin to get frustrated and look over at Feyre. Do High Lords ever shut up? She mind-links to me. I bark out a laugh in response. It is only then that I realise Nyx has risen and begun to walk toward Tamlin on the other side of the room.

I begin to step forward, worried for what might happen, even though I know she can take care of herself.

She stops just out of arms reach of him and stands there looking at him carefully, observing him. Tamlin simply stares back, not rudely but as if ready for judgement.

"Thank you." She says softly to him. His eyes widen in shock. By the Cauldron! My eyes widen in shock.

She gives him a small smile and nod, causing Azriel to noticeably tense up by my side. I shoot him a sideways look, confused as to his response but not questioning it aloud, yet. I turn to my mate and see that she noticed too.

I look back over to Nyx and see that she is making her way back towards the door, looking to me for confirmation.

"Well, with that todays discussion is over. I wish I could say it was nice to see you all." I say, pointedly looking at Beron and Tamlin before following after Nyx, the rest of my Inner Circle following my lead.
