That same day,the policemen called and gave us information.

Policeman: Is this miss Sofia, on the line? One of the policemen asked.

Me: Yes it is, I said on the the phone pacing up and down while mum was making lunch, Mac and cheese precisely.

Policeman:Well, we want to ask some questions,

Me: Go ahead I said sitting down on the chair,just then Craig came in looking sober, I frowned at him and continued my call.

Policeman: Firstly, were you raped by the father of your child, he asked.

Me: Phewww... I sighed, Yes I was,I said remembering that dark day of my life.

Policeman: OK, we are at the home address and we have one Mr Jackson here, I can recall that your sister mentioned his name. Is he the father of your child.

Me: Yes, he is, I said as I continued my pacing while everyone looked at me.

Policeman: Turns out, that he kidnapped his child.

Me: HE DIDWHATTT?I screamed as I stiffened, and  tears filled up my eyes and strolled down. What happened honey, mum said approaching me,while Craig followed.

Policeman: Miss sofia, we are here with the culprit and have apprehended him.

B..Bu...u..t, Did you find my daughter? I asked as tears filled my eyes again.

Policeman:Well, that's the good news she is okay, but she has been crying probably missing her mother, we are heading to the station so you should come over and pick her in.

Me: Okay, I will be right there.

And he hung up, then I started sobbing, that's when mum came to me. Honey you don't need this, the most important thing is that your daughter is alright and safe, mum said as I nodded, then she went into the kitchen. Uhmmm.. I am sorry, Sofia I didn't know the issue had been this escalated, it was Camilla, that told me, Craig said squatting, to my level. Now you have shown me who you really are, so if Ivy wasn't kidnapped you won't call me to say hello, that means you don't care about me or Ivy. I said standing up to go. This is not the time nor the place to talk about this alright, I said walking towards the kitchen. I am sorry I was caught up in..... Oh you wanna say work? Go on, you were caught up in work I said nodding and folding my hands sarcastically. So when in was about to go I felt a hand stop me by pulling me back, look I love you and Ivy so much and I would do anything for you both, Craig said soberly. Do you know what you can do for me? By getting your hands away from my arm, I said shrugging to let go as Craig left me, i could see tears in his eyes and a part of me wanted to forgive him but i couldn't. Then I left for the kitchen, mum are you coming with me to the station? I asked my mum. Honey, I would love to but you know Kaila, I can't leave her alone, mum said. Oh I understand I will just ask Chris, I said assuredly. Mum nodded and as j was going Into Chris's room I found Craig, in the sitting room, we stared deeply into each others eyes, then he left. I wanted to stop him but it was too late, so I put my hand back. I asked Chris if he would go with me and he agreed. On our way, I kept thinking about Craig, I hope I didn't hurt his feelings I mumbled, to myself as I sighed.
