Don't worry baby mummy's coming to get you. I said consoling myself, some minutes later, we arrived at the police station. I quickly ran outside, heading towards the station.
Uhmm.... Please I have an issue of kidnap I said quickly. Hold on ma'am, one of the policeman said, Explain everything in details, the other policeman said. W...well, yesterday, I was taking a nap and when I woke up I didn't see ivy, playing with her niece again. I said, just then Chris came in, What's Ivy's relationship with you? One of the policeman said. She is my daughter,I said as they were jotting something, OK who is this young man here?the policemen asked, I am her elder brother he said,The policemen nodded. How old is she? One of the men asked, she is just 8 months going to nine months I said, OK, fill in this booklet with everything needed,we will get back to you and before you go where were you, when all this happened? The policemen pointed at Chris, Errr...... I was at my friends place Chris said, Okayy.. One of the policemen said suspecting Chris, But I definitely knew that my brother won't do such,I mean he took Ivy like his child. Oh gosh, why am I using past tense, I meant he "takes" Ivy like his own child. When we were done we went back home. Any luck? Mum asked desperately. Yes, they said they will investigate and get back to us,I said settling down, I hope you have got some weight of your shoulder now that you know that the police is on it, mum said sitting down by my side, I guess so, but I still think about her and her beautiful smiles. I said playing with my finger, don't worry all will be well mum said patting my back, so now will you get something to eat? Mum asked, Yeah maybe, waffles or pancakes I said, Alright get upstairs and freshen up when you're done come back here to eat okay mum said. Okay mum I said and ran upstairs, I wasn't really happy though, I wouldn't see Ivy for some time and Kaila will be lonely I thought as I showered. Then I went downstairs and ate and when I was done,I met Kaila on my way, Where is Ivy, she said holding her stuffed teddy with tears in her eyes, just then I knew she loved Ivy like her sister. She's coming back soon,I said hugging Kaila. She will be back, hopefully, I murmured.
