Jade West's Sister

Chapter 1: The New Girl

Jade is standing by her locker when Sikowitz walks up to her.

„Jade!"

„What?!", Jade yells already annoyed.

„This is Katelyn", he points to the girl standing next to him. She seems to be in her sophomore year, probably about one or two years younger than Jade although she's only one inch shorter than Jade. Katelyn is wearing black skinny jeans, white adidas superstars and a simple oversized white t-shirt. Pretty basic but it's a mood, Jade thinks about the girl's outfit.

„I thought you could be nice and show her around."

„First of all I am not nice and secondly no!", Jade walks away to Beck who is at his locker talking to Andre.

„Who's that girl?", Andre asks.

„I don't know. Some new girl, I guess. Sikowitz wanted me to show her around like who am I?"

Beck puts his arm around Jade's shoulder and Jade takes his hand as all of them watch Sikowitz and the girl talking to Tori now.

„She kinda looks like you though", Andre says. Jade gives him a death glare before the walk outside to get lunch.

Later at lunch, Tori joints them.

„Where have you been?", Cat asks.

„Sikowitz asked me to show that new girl Katelyn around and I just did that", Tori explains.

„Of course you did", Jade rolls her eyes.

Tori sits down. „She says her full name is Katelyn West. You sure you two aren't related in any way?", Tori asks Jade.

„How many times to I have to say it: I DON'T KNOW HER! Besides I only have a brother who's way too young to go to highschool. Adding he's not talented enough to come to this school and the rest of my relatives hate me and guess what? I hate them too!"

„It would explain why Sikowitz asked you to show her around first", Beck says.

„And why she looks like a mini you", Andre adds.

„She doesn't!", Jade looks at Beck asking him to agree with her. But he only laughs at her and gives her a gently squeeze.

„Look there she is", Tori points out. Katelyn is standing between some tables not knowing where to sit. She heads to an empty table.

„Oh no, she is sitting all alone there", Tori feels sorry for her.

„Maybe someone will join her soon", Cat adds.

„She'll be fine", Jade says harshly. She already hates this new girl.

„I don't know, maybe we should let her sit with us", Robbie suggests.

„No, no, no, no, no, no! It's bad enough you have let Tori sit with us all these years", Jade complains.

Tori rolls her eyes offendedly and calls for Katelyn to come over.

„Are we really gonna let a freshman sit with us?", Jade asks very upseet about the situation.

„She's not a freshman, she's in her sophomore year, she just moved here with her parents. Besides it's just for today or until she finds some friends", Tori explains.

„Relax", Beck whispers in Jade's ear while rubbing her back and Jade rests her head on Beck's shoulder.

„She's hot", Rex says as Katelyn walks towards their table.

„Hi, I'm Katelyn! It's very nice of you letting me sit with you", Katelyn introduces herself friendly.

„Don't get used to it!", Jade says with a sarcastic smile on her face.
