Jade opens her eyes and realizes she must have fallen asleep during the movie. Her laptop is still laying in her bed between her and Katelyn. Katelyn is laying next to Jade, she must have fallen asleep during the movie yesterday as well. Normally Jade would push her of the bed but she has a better, more fun idea. She would never admit it but he doesn't hate Katelyn anymore, she kind of even likes her. Finding out she isn't the kind of princess Jade was sure she was may have helped a lot. Jade kind of realized that they have some more things in common than their problems with their dad. Like their taste in alternative rock music, a thing for the color black and a sarcastic humour.

Katelyn hears someone knocking at the door. It's Jason, her and Jade's little brother. Katelyn realizes she's still in Jade's room, but Jade isn't there anymore.

„Mom says you should come down for breakfast. Jade made her delicious blueberry pancakes", he anounces happily, opening the door.

„Jade can cook?", Katelyn is suprised. She is still wearing the sweats she fell asleep with yesterday so she just gets out of bed and follows Jason downstairs.

„When I was little she cooked a lot for us when mom was sick", he explains like it is no big deal while running down the stairs.

„Morning!", Melissa greets Katelyn.

„Good morning", Jade says with an evil smile on her face.

„Good morning?", Katelyn asks confused and sits down at the table.

„You seem like that psychopath from the movie yesterday who made dinner for her family", Katelyn jokes.

Jade's mom starts to laugh: „Well, that's a nice thing to do for a psychopath."
„She poisoned them", Katelyn adds, when she notices Jade's weird smile.

„This one is a special one, just for you", Jade says in the voice she usually mocks Tori with. She puts the pancakes on Katelyn's plate.

„I want the special one!", Jason complains.
„No! This is one is especially for Katelyn and I will make you one with extra chocolate on it, alright?", Jade says which makes her in Katelyn's eyes look like an even bigger psychopath but Jason jsut nods.

„There is no poison in this one, is it?", Katelyn looks at her pancake.

„I am sure their is none. Go ahead try it. Jade is pretty good at cooking", Melissa claims.

„I prefer baking but I guess so!", Jade says.

„Okay, but if I die because of this you have to explain Sikowitz why I can't do the play anymore."
„No problem, I'll do that", Jade answers.

Katelyn takes a bite from it. It tastes horrible! Jade must have put something else in it, probably chili because her whole mouth feels like burning. But Katelyn tries to keep a straight face. She swallows all her water as fast as possible.

„Delicious", Katelyn tries to say as serious as possible while taking another pancake from the plate in the middle of the table. Jade clearly doesn't believe her and seems to laugh at Katelyn's discusted face. Katelyn tries the new one she has just taken from the main plate. This one is indeed delicious, not like the one Jade has made especially for her.

„Your pancakes are disgusting", Katelyn whispers to Jade who just sat down next to her.

„Thank you", Jade smiles sadisfied.

„I thought we made up?", Katelyn asks.

„Oh we did! That doesn't mean I am going to be nice to you", Jade explains. Katelyn just rolls her eyes at her, it's something she just has to live with.
