"I'm so hungry why are they still in there." Tracy groans as we walk down the hall.

Tracy planned an afternoon to all hang out together so Gen invited Nelson and Tracy literally invited Nick for me. She didn't even ask! Even though I was going to ask him anyway.

Nick was holding my hand as we walked towards the robotics lab. Tracy was ahead of us looking through her purse for food like a madwoman.

Once we got to the lab Tracy barged right in. Nick and I were too focused looking at one another to notice she stopped. So me being a good observer, I crash into Tracy's back.

"Tracy why-" I say rubbing my forehead while looking up. I stop talking when I see Gen and Nelson making out. Like really making out.

"Oh my god ew." Tracy rolls her eyes and spins on her heel to leave causing Gen to notice us. She practically shoves Nelson off her and he hits a shelf causing things to fall off it.

I cover my eyes and yell sorry while Nick closes the door.

"We're going to be late because Gen couldn't keep her tongue in her mouth." Tracy yells rolling her eyes.

"Come on Tracy be happy for Gen they really like each other," I say and she glares at me.

"Never mind." I laugh putting my hands up in surrender and she starts to tap her foot.

After a few seconds we hear loud whispering behind the door and then it's flung open.

Gen stands there with her frizzy hair even more frizzy if possible. And Nelson's blonde- usually slicked back hair is now messed up. His glasses were crooked too.

"Sorry guys." Gen waves her hand like it's nothing and links arms with us.

The three of us walk ahead and I look over my shoulder.

"Nice," Nick says clapping his back and I laugh when they high five.

"Why are we doing this again?" Gen asks looking over the menu.

"We need to bond. If Gen and Alice are gonna have a boyfriend I need to like them first." Tracy says in a duh tone.

"Wait Tracy-" I close my mouth when the waiter comes to our table.

"Good afternoon everyone my name is Sadie and I'll be your server tonight." Sadie smiles. "Is everyone ready to order?"

"Why hello there Sadie," Tracy says smiling. She sits up straighter in her chair.

"Oh no." Gen mumbles and I look at her weirdly.

"Pretty name for a pretty girl. You know I used to be a waitress." Tracy eyes the girl.

Oh no.

"I'll take water," Gen says when Tracy starts talking about her favorite pair of shoes.

Tracy shoots Gen a glare when we all start to order.

"I'll have carbonated water with raspberry-infused ice," Tracy says when it's her turn.

"Uhm we don't have that here but I can offer you a raspberry lemonade?" Sadie says kindly.

"That'll have to do." Tracy sighs and hands her the drinks menu and makes sure her hand brushes Sadies.

Sadie leaves quite quickly.

"Well played Tracy." Nelson laughs and Tracy flips her hair. Nick and I both high five her.
