~Third Person P.O.V~
Keith burred his head into his pillow, trying to savor the warmth it provided for as long as he could. It was Monday, one of the worst days of the week in his opinion, school started back up.
He could hear muted shuffling in his room, Lance getting ready, he guessed.
The raven haired teen didn't think much of the Cuban boy. Sure, he was...intrigued for lack of better words- but only because he knew nothing about Lance. Like why he got a panic attack at the beach. Don't get him wrong, he did believe Lance's lie...at first. But there was something about their conversation that didn't set right with him- and after replaying it in his head a few times...he knew Lance was lying.
His body language alone gave him away completely.
Lance McClain was a mystery. And if there was one thing Keith loved in his life, is a good mystery- and god damn it, he was determined to figure it out.
Eventually, he got up, only to be met with his mother's high pitched voice yelling at him.
"Keith Kogane! It is seven twenty-two, why aren't you up yet!" She yelled, smacking him a few times in the head.
"Ow! 너무 일찍 엄마야, 닥쳐 줄래?!" Keith growled, knowing his mother wouldn't understand him. Keith's father, not Christopher- but his birth father, was born in Korea. He died when Keith was five, but before he died he taught Keith to speak in Korean- much to his mother's confusion on the language. 'It's too early mom, will you shut up?!'
"English please." Krolia said, letting out an exasperated sigh.
"I said 'I'm getting up'." Keith lied, still annoyed with his mother's shrill yelling.
Krolia sat on Keith's bed, watching as her son fished for some clothing around his room. She couldn't help but smile to herself as she observed, he looked a lot like his father at the moment. The only thing he really got from his mother is her eyes, among a few small things.
"Hey Keith?"
The teen turned to look at his mother, his look of annoyance melting and fading away as he took in her facial expression.
"What is it mom?" He asked, joining her on the bed.
Krolia smiles, a toothy kind of smile as she shakes her head. "Just- be nice to Lance at school, okay? I can only imagine how nervous he must be." She said softly, gently threading her fingers into his inky locks.
Keith nods, planting a quick kiss on his mother's cheek before heading off to the bathroom.
He didn't need his mother to tell him to be nice to the Cuban boy, he had already planned on it. Only because he was curious about him, that's it. (Cue eye roll)
Pulling his black T-shirt over his head he quickly pulls out his phone, opening his group text message.
