A Reader's Own Love Story

Chapter 5

I woke up early today because its our recognition day. I fix myself and wear my uniform and put a light make up. Its 7:30 when we arrived to school.

DEAN'S LISTER:

Davis, Gwyneth Vivien G.

After the recognition we decided to go home.

When I arrived, my mom and Dad prepare a simple celebration for me.
They even invited Drake' s family.

"Congrats iha" sabay na bati ni tita and tito.

"Thanks tita and tito. Lets eat po." they nodded to me and I guide them to go inside of our house.

"Congratulations love." Drake greeted me happily and hugged me. I was surprised when he handed me a small box and when I opened it  may kwintas ito sa loob with my name as the pendant.
"Omyghad. Thank you so much love. I really appreciate it." I hugged him tighter and he put the necklace on my neck.

His family and mine dine and eat together and talk about some business matters. And suddenly interrupted when Drake spoke.

"Ah tita and tito ipagpapaalam ko lang po sana si Gwy. Mag cecelebrate po sana kami ng mga pinsan niya at mga barkada ko if okay lang po sa inyo?"

" Ofcourse iho. Its fine as long as youre gonna take care of our daughter. How many days is that? At tsaka saan?"my dad said.

"Actually po 3 days trip po kami. One day po sa Bolinao then the next day po Alaminos kami to visit Hundred Islands and the last day po is Baguio City."

"Okay then its fine with me. Basta mag iingat lang kayo." My dad said and Drake and I nodded.

After mag usap-usap ay nagpunta kami ni Drake sa garden namin.

"Love sinabihan ko na  mga pinsan mo and friends ko about dito. Huli kitang sinabihan because I want to surprise you." he said

"Well then im surprised. Im excited too. I didnt expect this. Kaya pala nag yayaya ako sa kanila sabi may lakad sila. Ito pala yon. So kailan tayo aalis?" I asked him

"Tomorrow. Were gonna used Yuan's van. Our driver will drive us there. We'll pick you up here at 3am so we can arrived there early."

"Okay. So I have to pack my things pala for three days. By the way how are you doin? We've been busy for last few days kaya di tayo masyadong nakakapag usap."

"Well Im doing great thou. Medyo busy pa din dahil pag uwi natin the next day  moving up naman namin."

"Oh. Im gonna attend that. I wanna see you on stage" i said

After we talk about some matters. Tinawag na sya nina tito at tita para umuwi na. After We bid our goodbyes umakyat na ko sa kwarto ko and fix everything that I need for the trip. Im looking forward on this. Im so excited......

Ghad its 12am and hindi pa ko natutulog. Maybe because sobra akong excited for our trip later. Kanina pa ako paikot ikot sa kama ko ilang beses na din akong nalaglag. Hindi ko na alam kung anong oras ako nakatulog sa kakaikot ko basta nagising nalang ako ng tumunog na ang alarm clock ko. I rush to the bathroom and take a bath and fix my self. Binaba ko na din ang dala kong maleta sa sala and after few minutes may nag dorbell sa labas kaya dali dali akong lumabas.

"Goodmorning beautiful." Drake said and kiss me on my cheek. Shutanginamers aga aga pakilig dala neto. Sarap hampasin ng maleta charot.

"Goodmorning too love." I greeted back.

" Shall we?" He asked and I nodded.

Kinuha niya ang gamit ko at sya na ang nagdala sa sasakyan. What a gentleman. Pag kasakay ko sa van I was surprise to see Amber there. Sleeping. Well yeah right she's Drake's friend what do I expect. Tsk. I just rolled my eyes at her kahit hindi nya to nakikita. 

Kumpleto din ang kaibigan nya. Andon si Yuan, Ethan, and ofcourse Alex. Nandon na din si Hattie, Tracie and Selena. Si Clem dadaanan pa daw namin sa may convenience store. Kahit kailan yung babaeng yon. VIP na din bigla. Namana pa kay Tracie.

Hindi na kami nag karon ng time ng mga pinsan ko para mag usap dahil tulog sila. Drake's  friends greeted me goodmorning and so I did the same to them. We just have a little chitchats and I decided to lean on Drake and I fell asleep.....
