"Amanda to my office now." sabi ko sa secretary ko at padabog na sumakay ng elevator at padabog ding pumasok sa opisina ko. Ang aga aga wala na ko sa mood dahil sa traffic at umuulan pa.

"Schedule for today."

"A-ah meeting with Mr. Faller at 9am, meeting with Engr. Drake Gonzales together with his team at 10am. Lunch meeting with Mr. Agoncillo and board meeting at 2pm Madam."

"Wait. Engr. Drake Gonzales from Gonzales Company?"

"Yes Madam"

Damn. Bulong ko sa sarili ko matapos marinig ang sagot ng secretary ko. Bakit sya pa? Bakit kailangan dito pa? Bakit kailangang magkasama kami sa project na to? If you're asking who is that Drake. Well no other than my ex boyfriend. We've been together for 4 years but not anymore.

Its been 5 years after our break up. Ngayon ko nalang ulit narinig amg pangalan nya. Ngayon nalang ulit kami magkikita.

"Madam mag start na po yung meeting kayo nalang po ang hinihintay."

"Okay I'll be there in 5minutes."
Dali dali akong pumasok sa CR para magretouch. Ofcourse. Kailangan maganda ako.

As soon as I stepped on the meeting room everyone kept quiet. Ofcourse the CEO just entered the room which is me. There I saw Drake sitting comportably and looking straight to my eyes. Para akong pinako sa kinatatayuan ko at bumalik lamang sa reyalidad ng tinatawag ako ni Amanda para umupo.

I wonder if there's someone from the meeting room knows that Drake and I were in a relationship years ago.....

"So the location is in Cebu?". I asked everyone.

"Yes Ms. Davis." The presenter answered.

"How long would it be? Any estimations?"

" 2 years, hopefully." Drake answered.

His voice is cold. He didnt even looked at me. His eyes we're on the papers totally ignoring my presence.

"When will you start Engineer Gonzales?" I asked Drake.

He looked at me with no emotions on his eyes. "As soon as we get your approval Ms. Davis."

"Okay. I'll inform your company. So do you guys have any questions?" I asked everyone in the meeting room. "If none then meeting adjourned."

Everyone stood up and started fixing their things. I watched everyone leaving the room specially Drake. I wonder how is his relationship with my sister. I notice that he became taller. He became more manly and I think everything about him change.

Napababa ang tingin ko sa kanyang kamay and I saw a ring. If Im not mistaken thats an engagement ring. So they're engage huh?

I havent heard any news about them. I told my parents so as my cousins not to tell me anything about whats going on with them.

"Amanda kindly compile everything for this project and email it to me. If you have a hard copy then put it in my office."

"Copy Madam."

I stood up and start fixing my things too and leave the room. I still need to prepare for my lunch meeting.

I spent my remaining hours in reading some documents and papers on Cebu's project.

"Amanda, do you think bagay sakin ang color red na hair?" I asked my secretary. Well shes not just a secretary for me. She's an adviser and a friend too. She's with me kahit pa nung nasa Japan ako.

"Ofcourse Madam. Anything will still look good on you. Sobrang ganda niyo kaya." She answered and I see no kaplastikan on her face.

"Thanks. You can go home now." I said and started fixing my things.

"Ingat po kayo Madam." Amanda waved her hand to me and headed to her car.

Dumaan muna ko sa bahay ni Hattie before I went home. I went home around 8pm. I bought a new house next to my old house. The house that Drake and I bought. Well its not actually me who bought this new house cause I ask Serena but I didnt know that she bought this one. I dont know if its just coincidence or sinadya niya.

Pumasok na ko sa kwarto ko and I did my routines. After that I read some papers na inuwi ko dahil hindi ko natapos basahin kanina sa office.

Btw, Im managing my own company. Its not my parents company. Amber is the one managing it because of my dads order. Well I dont care. I can live on my own now. I just care about my mom. I asked her to live with me but she refused because my dad is sick.

I just finished reading documents and then sleep.

I was busy signing some documents in my office when Hattie entered. She handed me her wedding invitation. Yes she's getting married in less than a month now.

"Are you sure about this?" I asked her. "You know that married life is not easy."

She smiled at me." Yes I know. But I'll get use to it. Besides if not now then when?"

"Isa lang naman ang masasabi ko bukod sa congratulations."

"What is it?"

"Sana all." We both laughed. "I cant imagine myself marrying a man someday. If its not him I dont want to get married anymore." I sighed.

She tapped my back. "Maybe its time for you to moved on. Its been 5 years. Give yourself a chance to look for someone else."

I took a deep breath and sighed again."I wish it was that easy. Anyway lets cut it here. You said na magdedeliver ka pa ng invitation sa iba nating cousin. Lets just hang out some other time. " I gave her a small smile.

"Okay bye... Just DM us if youre free so we can have drinks." She hugged me before leaving.

Is it really time to move on? Wala na ba talaga kaming chance na magkabalikan? A tear fell from my cheeks.

Dali dali kong pinunasan ang luha ko ng bumukas ang pinto.

"Madam nasa meeting room na po lahat."

"Just give me a minute. I'll be there. " I fix myself before going to the meeting room.
