Chapter 27
Ben POV

I looked at Joseph with fear in my eyes. He said one of us needs to give up our lives so he can get stronger. I'm more than willing too because I know he will save my sister. I can see the pure love in his eyes he has for my sister and it pained him that he was away from her and not protecting her. I can see the frustrations that he is so far away from her and she is getting weaker and weaker by each moment and she is more close to death. I got up and said, "I'll do it." Frankie looked at me with fear and shock in her eyes. 'No you can't do that. I can't lose you. Please don't do it." She said with tears forming in her eyes. "I'll do it for Daisy." She said. "What No, Frankie. You can't do that you need to live. I rather you live than me. Just knowing that your alive will make me feel better." I said to her. "Well I feel the same way." She said. She came up close to me and hugged me with tears running down her shirt. "Well one of you guys need to make a decision fast, I don't think how long will I last." Jo said as he was struggling to get up.

We started arguing of which one of us is going to sacrificed our lives until one voice spoke up. I turned around and saw, Georgia standing there. Why was Brittany's best friend here. She spoke up again, "I'll sacrificed my life to save Daisy." I looked at her with concern in my eyes, "why would you want to sacrifice your life to save Daisy? Your Brittany's best friend and you hate Daisy." "Correction, I was jealous of Daisy of how beautiful she is, so I became friends with Brittany. I never hated Daisy, our cousin. I am so sorry if I wasn't there for her even though we are family. I'm so sorry but I can do this for her. I owe it to her cousin. I know you disown me as a cousin and don't think of me as family which I never was anyways." She said with tears brimming her eyes. That's true of what she said, I never thought of her a cousin or family. I only thought of Daisy and Frankie as my last family members I had left. Also, begs the question, how did she get her and followed us in? "Hey how did you get in here and how did you follow us?" I asked her. She replied, "I was following more like stalking. I saw the portal still opened and yes I have heard everything about Daisy being the pure one." "What about your mate?" I asked her. Tears came down her eyes, "he died a couple of months ago. Never told anyone and I became really good at masking my emotions." I felt bad that she lost her mate and I knew why she wanted to die to be with him and make amends. "So let's do this." She said with confidence. Joseph walked over to her and looked at me, "I don't think you will like what you see when I do this." He said. Georgia looked at me with happy tears in her eyes and said, "Tell Daisy I said I'm sorry." I nodded my head. I saw Jo grip her neck and he opened up his mouth. He began sucking up her soul and the noises made me want to gag. You can hear bones crunching and insides drying out. Georgia then dropped on the ground with a thud and I saw Joseph's eyes turn a red color. You can tell he enjoyed that immensely. Demons, I said to myself.

"Ok let's go save my mate." Joseph said. We continued to find her. Jo spoke up again, "you won't like what you see in this place. You need to be careful in this place," He said. I asked him cause I have always wanted to know, "how does it feel to take a life?" He looked at me shocked by my question. "It's like a drug that completely takes you over and consumes in a sexual way." He explained. Umm wow I said to my myself.

"Watch out cause in this part of the place, it's terrible and worse and don't make eye contact." He warned me. He wasn't kidding when how worse it was. You can hear the piercing screams of the lost tortured souls. You can hear the evil laughs of demons and this place was burning hot. I was sweating. There were evil looking creatures hiding in the shadows and on top of cliffs looking down on us with their evil crooked smiles. Ugh, I can't believe a place like this exists. My poor sister, I said to myself. An evil looking demon latched itself onto my leg and held on tightly, I tried to get it away from me and then Joseph came and kicked it away. "Back off you bastard." Jo said. "Ugh what is this part of the place?" I asked horrified. "This part of the place is where all the tormented and souls who have lost their humanity and mind. Meaning there is nothing left of them but hollowness and even the king of hell (Crowley jk) Lucifer can't contain them. They are called The Hollows. They are so far gone that they can't can't come back not even with hate and greed. They will if they can get a chance to suck you in this place and keep you there. Trust me you don't wanna end up like them." He explained. Wow what he said gave me a whole new perspective on life. I looked at Frankie, my beautiful mate and gave her a big smile. I will never let her go and my sister.

"We still have a ways ahead of us. So let's keep on moving." Jo said. So we picked up the pace a little more. Oh Daisy, just hang on sis. We are coming for you. Just a little longer. I said in my head.
