Chirp! Chirp! Chirp!
Sang two winged creatures on the
birch.Patterns of blue, red, gold, and white,
oh, how DIVINE!
They huddled together like an ELEGANT COUPLE,
as their babies underneath were hatching in a HUSTLE.
Flip, flap. Flip, Flap.
DAZZLING shreaks of colours decorating the sky,
in the blink of an EYE.
Coo, coo! Coo, coo!
Swarms of black MOBS
starving for food,
as they were being SHOOED.
Tweet, tweet! Tweet, tweet!
A sapphire pigeon DESPERATE to find a partner to GREET.
Shriek, shriek! Shriek, shriek!
Calls of the long-tufted owl,
telling her BABIES she had found creatures to FEED.
Cockadoodaldoo! Cockadoodaldoo!
Voices of the MESSENGER birds,
rising the villagers so that their day is not DUE.
These creatures may look FEEBLE, WEAK, and have brains very
BLUNTED,
but please, I plead, do not HUNT them,
as they are the COLOURFUL beauties that can never be
CONFRONTED.
