Roburn. The largest village in the northern side of the continent. Filled with a bustling market place, outside of a large in, a tavern, a weapons shop, and a few small homes here and there, dotting the roadside and branching off into exits to the village.
Syaoran sat alone in the tavern with a mug of water, contemplating his next move. The village elder had approached him earlier when he had left the inn, asking if he had been an adventurer. When he answered yes, the elder was overjoyed. He shared with Syaoran a problem at night with some strange creatures attacking and raiding certain spots of the village at night. He told of a secret underground labyrinth that the creatures seemed to come from and recede back in to when morning comes. He said he'd offer Syaoran 100 gold coins if he succeeded, and he could keep anything he found in the labyrinth.
Syaoran accepted.
The only problem is, there was no way he could do it on his own. He needed help, but he didn't know who to ask. No one around him seemed to be an adventurer. He was sure to give up now.
