The Strange New Objects, and a New Quest

Darren stooped down and picked up the small cube, about the size of his palm. The blue crystal that decorated the cube glowed bright blue as he picked it up, "I wonder what this thing does... guys, go ahead and pick yo-" Darren's thumb swiped over the crystal and it began to blow. The cube split open, spreading out on his palm. The blue crystal was floating in a small bubble of blue slime. Darren started the slime for a few seconds, before it jumped on his arms. It slowly spread on his arms, while he struggled to pull it off, "Uh, guys! A little help here!" But the slime was spreading too fast for any of them to stop it. Once it had engulfed his whole body, besides Darren's face, it began to solidify and change color, as well as add detail. Plate armor began to form on his limbs, and a breast plate formed. His helmet sprouted two horns that formed a semi-circle above his head, and the helmet was rounded with a border around the edge of the helmet where the mask ended and his face began. Then, a face plate formed in front of his face, with 2 eye holes and 2 more holes for breathing, but looked like eyes. The holes were covered by a light blue film, covering from the slime itself. The chest plate was gray and the limbs black. In the center of his head piece, where the horns started, was the blue crystal. Every chink or opening of his armor glowed blue, showing the color he had picked, "W-What's going on!" He tried to pull the armor off, but it didn't work. Luckily for him, the cloak he had been wearing had stayed outside of the armor, as did his weapons and quiver.

((Okay, how all of yours could work is it can turn into any weapon or armor of your choice. The only downside to this is, if it's a weapon, its attached to your hand, until you recollapsing it back into a cube. This means you can't lose it or it can't be knocked off of you or out of your hand. It can be destroyed, and it only repairs itself when back in the cube form. If the crystal is completely removed from the weapon/armor, the object will change back into slime and follow the crystal.))
