Hide N Seek

My legs carried me through the hallways faster than what they normally would have done. I wonder if it was because I had a  "proper" breakfast. That didn't matter right now though, I had a game to win. Simply because of the fact that..If I won, I could roam the pack grounds and potentially slip away from them. I could get my freedom from this place and never have to bother anyone ever again.

'After the week you promised Haven.' My wolf growled out a warning.

'Yes yes I know...'

I finished my running when I decided to crawl up the chimney and keep myself in there with my feet and back pressing against the walls. I would have gotten here sooner if I hadn't ran through all those other rooms. You see, werewolves have an acute sense of smell, so I had to quickly put my scent on everything so he could have a bit of harder time trying o find me. Even if he did find me, I could crawl up the chimney more and escape onto the roof. My plan is fool's proof

"Ready or not....here he comes..." I gulped as I whispered to myself.

His footsteps echoed through the house.

Damein's Pov

Her scent was absolutely everywhere. She didn't hesitate to put in the rub your scent on everything strategy~. This was a walk in the park for me seeing how I know this place like the back of my hand. I have five minutes to find her in this house. She had rubbed her scent on everything and then had gone to a disclosed area. What I knew was I was definitely going to have fun trying to catch my little WildFire.

While I was walking through the house, keeping an eye on time, I began to start thinking of her wolf. Her wolf is this lovely red wolf with beautiful turquoise eyes. Its something I have never seen before when it came to wolves and color combos...But what shocked me was how red her wolf was. Red wolves were rare enough but they were normally just reddish browns and mahogany browns. No...Haven's wolf was practically all red with red splotches of fur and her deep mahogany fur. It was sorta off settling and made me worry for her and his pack. I have heard of a very few elite wolves having magical capabilities. The Moon Goddess gave them to us long ago but they were all nearly wiped out for their powers. Some granted wolves immortality from age, others granted them capabilities that far exceed that of a normal wolf.

Now it was highly unlikely that my Haven had anything of the sort, but I still had to be careful with her. On a side note, I had to be careful around her much more than what I originally thought. Whenever I try being assertive or when my wolf comes out....she looks as if she had seen a ghost and...I lose her.

I let out a long sigh but catch a whiff of her scent that was fresh and I smile. I creep into the living room and begin searching the room for her. It had a chimney and just your everyday living room stuff. There were only so many places she could hide and even she knew that. I was about to turn and leave when I heard something that made me smile.

A sneeze...

I smirked and could practically hear the mental slap she just gave herself. The chimney began to start pouring some ash and I knew she was inside climbing up. I quickly ran up to the chimney and peered in, seeing her crawl through the top up onto the rooftop. I smirked and ran to the third floor, my feet pounding against the floor.

"I'm coming little Haven~"

Haven's PoV

I cursed myself for sneezing when he hadn't even left the room and quickly ran across the rooftop. I had two minutes left, two! I have to stay out of his reach for two minutes, but he probably knew where I was by now and was climbing up those stairs to get me. I hoped onto one of the balconies that this house had and runned inside. Closing off all the doors and windows. It was a stupid idea sure, but it would by her some time. She would have no where to run if he found her and got inside.
