Chapter 21

Mina's POV

I immediately turned around and saw Hyejoo holding a watermelon with one hand. I threw a glare at her but she only laughed.

"You almost gave me a panic attack!" I said and smacked her head. She rubbed it and pouted.

"Unnie, I'm just joking" she said and went inside ahead of me. She immediately went to the kitchen the watermelon still in her hands. I raised a brow at that.

"Why did you buy a watermelon?" I asked as I leaned at the counter.

"You know how much I love this" She said and started cutting the watermelon open.

"As much as I love ketchup" I said and chuckled.

I went to my room to change my clothes and headed downstairs to start cooking. The whole night went by normally. I texted Tzuyu a goodnight and goodluck message before heading to dreamland.

I woke up early today and saw a text from Tzuyu that she can't pick me up today and she wants to see me before the challenge. I immediately did my morning routine and grabbed some a gray long coat with a white blouse and pants and paired it with a heeled boots.

I headed downstairs and saw Hyejoo eating breakfast. I grabbed a pancake and dragged her outside with me.

"Hey! I'm still eating" she complained

"We have to go to school" I said and continued pulling her.

"Correction unnie, You have to go to school" she said and walked the same pace as me. I turned to her and good thing that she's wearing decent clothes. A black sweatshirt and black pants. I didn't even notice that she has a cap with her.

I rolled my eyes at her.

"You'll see Gowon there don't worry" I said and chuckled as I see her face blush

"Yah! Unnie!" She said and pushed me slightly. I just chuckled at her. We soon arrived at school and headed to the gymnasium since Tzuyu said that it's the place.

A lot of people are already inside but I saw a spot for us with my friends and beside it is Hyejoo's. Hyejoo immediately waved towards the blonde girl that's wearing a yellow sweatshirt and a pink beanie. We immediately walked towards our spot.

"You were almost late" Jihyo said since she's the one beside me

"Sorry" I said and then a man walked in the center holding a mic.

"The written challenge is already finished. We will reveal the results after the Debate. We have three rounds the first who get two points will win this round but if the person lose the written they won't have a point" he explained. I just nod and focused.

"Please welcome the princess of Taiwan, Chou Tzuyu" The mc said and Tzuyu appeared with her long sleeved off shoulder and a pink long skirt paired with a high heels.

She sat in the chair provided with a table in front. It's a long table with chairs in both end.

"Now, Let's welcome the prince of Thailand, Bambam" The mc announced. Bambam walked in wearing a gray long sleeves that's cuffed and a black pants. He sat opposite to Tzuyu.

"Now our topic is... should we allow all people to  use guns or not?" The mc announced the topic of it.

"Who should go first?" The mc asked.

"Ladies first" Bambam said full of confidence.

"Ms. Chou you have the right to choose your side" The mc said

Tzuyu picked the side that it shouldn't be so automatically Bambam gets the other one. It's just the beginning but everything is intense already. Everyone is silent and listening to everything they say.

Tzuyu won the round but Bambam still has a smirk in his face making me furrow my brows.

"The next topic is..... Is the grading system in schools effective? Now Bambam gets to pick first" He looked at our direction with a smirk in his face. I felt my spine shiver when we held eye contact.

"I'll pick...... it's effective" Bambam said. The topic is much more heated and Tzuyu looks so calm. She buts in every time she founds a hole in Bambam's statement making everything intense.

Bambam started to speak through gritted teeth. Gone was his cocky smirk a while ago. He started clenching his fist. He knows that his losing. Tzuyu remained unfazed and continue the battle.

In the end Tzuyu won the round. Making her win the debate automatically. Loud cheers were heard especially from our side.

"Now to announce the scores..... with a score of 98" the mc started

"Bambam..." He started smirking and was about to stand up when the mc continued

"He loses, Tzuyu won with a perfect score" He announced. Our squad started cheering. We ran towards her. She welcomed me with a warm hug and a kiss in the forehead.

"Congrats Tzuyu ah" I whispered to her as I bury my face in her shoulders.

"Thank you penguin" she said and kissed my head. I blushed.

"Let's Celebrate!" Nayeon shouted. Everyone cheered at it. We stopped when we saw Bambam walking towards us.

"Don't be cocky Chou, sports is next" he said and smirked before walking away with his friends.

We just rolled our eyes at him.

"Ice cream!" Momo shouted. We laughed at her.

"Let's get ice cream before going home" Tzuyu said. I looked around for Hyejoo but looks like she left with her friends already.

We walked to the ice cream place where we go last time. I ordered a blueberry ice cream since I'm craving for it all of a sudden. We enjoyed our ice cream since we know that Tzuyu still have to practice whatever sport they will play tomorrow.

Hyejoo with her friends suddenly entered the shop. Tzuyu called them. They looked confused but still followed.

"What's your group called?" Tzuyu asked.

"We are called Loona" the bobbed haired girl answered.

"Any dancers?" Tzuyu asked again. I furrowed my brows. A short haired girl raised her hand along with a girl with brownish hair that's tied in a ponytail then Hyejoo.

"I'm Yves" the short haired girl answered

"I'm Jungeun, just call me Kim Lip" the girl with ponytail said.

"Heejin is out with aeongie" Hyejoo said. We looked at her confused.

"Aeong?" I asked.

"I mean Hyunjin" She chuckled at herself. Stupid.

"I want you to help me with my performance challenge, if that's okay with you?" Tzuyu asked them.

They looked at each other before nodding

"Hey! Why didn't you asked me?" Momo sulked

"Of course you will help me, isn't that automatic?" Tzuyu asked. Momo just pouted them smiled.

We enjoyed our ice cream all together with loona. New friends.
