Eragon and Arya decided to stay in Illirea for a while with their friends, and Eragon's newfound family. They continued to have fun while taking care of their responsibilities. Their dragon's however, loved to randomly dissapear on them, they wouldn't sever the mental connection but they would block their location. It had become their little game of hide and seek with the Riders, Thorn convinced Nasuada to mislead the two legged's on their location. And currently, it was Firnen's turn to dissapear, Arya had been looking for him for about twenty minutes, as she had left his saddle on and she needed something from the saddle bags.

"Eragon, have you seen Firnen anywhere? He has the scrolls I need in the bags and he has found it ever so funny to hide himself somewhere in the castle."

"No I have not seen him but i'm sure Saphira or Thorn know, maybe ask Nasuada. They like to tell her the opposite thing, so if she tells you the east side of the castle, go to the west."

"Ah, very well then. Would you like to come along for Firnen's little excersion?"

"Why not." He stood up from the desk he was sitting at, and joined at Arya's side, her nimble fingers eventually sliding into his calloused ones. They walked the halls to the throne room, and asked Nasuada if she had any idea where the large green dragon could've hid himself. She told them there was a large rumbling from the tall north tower, so they walked down to the south basement. This was where a portion of the food for the dragons was kept so it made sense that he would chose to hide here.

As they walked through the rather large doorway, Firnen was seen watching the butchers intently as they sliced the meat. He whipped his head up to see Arya standing with one hand on her hip and with her left eyebrow cocked up, "Firnen."

He let out a low grumbled before walking over to her, she let go of Eragon and threw herself backwards in the saddle and began digging through the four bags hanging off the back of the hard, shaped leather. When she had grabbed all she needed, Eragon held his hand out with a small smile. She grabbed it and began to climb off of Firnen, he decieded to jerk his body and almost fling her off, Eragon stepped forward and caught her waist with both hands. He set her down as her dragon began to scratch at himself lightly with the paw she was standing on.

And you couldn't wait five seconds to help yourself?

Hm...maybe.

She rolled her eyes at the behavior of Firnen as Eragon set her down, "I'm sorry if I hurt you in the process of catching you."

"You did not hurt me Eragon, thank you for catching me though. Firnen's being quite testy with me today." The dragon grumbled and nudged her with his snout, I'm only messing with you Raven. Do not be upset.

I am not upset Firnen, i'm a little worried about what is happening in Du Weldenvarden. I have not recieved any word of his leadership skills.

If there was something wrong, i'm sure they would've contacted you about it. Besides, you have told Nasuada and Murtagh of you and Eragon's plans, they trust in it and I am sure Lord Daethedr would contact them if you could not be reached.

I would hope they tell me if something goes amiss. I am still Queen for the time being. She rejoined her hand with Eragon's and told him of her worries, he reassured her just as Firnen did, she felt a little better but no completely sure of herself.  They walked back through the castle and to the room they'd been staying in. She placed herself behind the desk and he sat at the small work table across from the bed. Arya found Eragon worrying about his students quite often, she knew he wasn't worried about their safety, but rather mental composure. Being away from one's family wasn't a large problem, as the only family he had was Roran and Brom. Though he didn't know Brom was his father, and he lost Brom before even reaching the Varden, when he trained with Oromis and Gleadr, Roran was the only one he was aware of being directly related to.
