This is a series of one-shots I thought of as to how Roran discovers Eragon's secret. Well dragon rider secret anyway. Definitely not the basic Eragon fanfic. More revolving around already happened but could have occurred. Depending on which gets the best reaction I may or may not create that one-shot into an actual story. Well, they are kinda stories already. But it's a long one shot or short story. Your choice. Still comment on it though. Rambling again. Sorry. Comment, follow, and/or vote if you enjoy. Together they have created a new order of the riders, and under the guidance of the riders and the benevolent rulling of Nasuada , Alglasia has flourished. This poem is based on Christopher Paolini's Inheritance book. It is the fourth and for the time being the last book of the inheritance cycle. It is based on Arya's feelings after the end. I met Christopher on 11/06/2012, a mere three weeks after writing and posting this poem here. I never believed I would meet him. 20 years after the Varden victory over the Empire, Eragon Shadeslayer left Alagaesia, to train the next generation of Dragon Riders. It is a time of peace and prosperity. However, a dark force is rising, and is a threat to the entire world. Once more, the Dragon Riders are called to defend the people of Alagaesia. Once more, they shall fight, and face the growing darkness. Before you read: I have made extensive use of the Ancient language for the magic in this book. Chances are, most of the words will be unfamiliar to you. I provided translations at the end of each chapter. *If anyone feels so inclined, a cover for this book would be great. You know the story. The beginning and the end. A lone Rider and dragon prevailing against impossible odds. But what if they were changed? Another pair that takes up the mantle of responsibility and makes a mark on Alagaësia in their own way? What if Eragon had a twin sister and in the Spine, they found a red stone instead? What changes, then, starting from the very beginning? ======================================== An Inheritance Cycle fanfiction/rewrite, written in such a way that even those unfamiliar with the series can read without issue! An OC insert at the beginning of the first book where the difference in character, personality, and actions cause this story to diverge from the one we know slowly. Some of the first chapters are more or less simple edited copies of actual chapters from the books, mainly because there was simply not much to change. But as the story diverges, so will the chapters. Currently, I plan to rewrite the entirety of the first book, but that is a pretty huge goal, so we'll see. As the final battle was drawing to a close, Gaea would not go down without taking the one person who gave everyone hope down with her.
