Gwen and her mother come to Carvahall for refuge. They meet Garrow and his family and settle three miles away. Gwen and Eragon become friends, and soon, lovers. Together they will travel to the Varden where Gwen learns who she really is.

This is a series of one-shots I thought of as to how Roran discovers Eragon's secret. Well dragon rider secret anyway. Definitely not the basic Eragon fanfic. More revolving around already happened but could have occurred. Depending on which gets the best reaction I may or may not create that one-shot into an actual story. I don't own anything except my character Drae. Everything else belongs to Christopher Paolini. Tortured, bloody, and alone, Drae assumed her life would end at the hands of the dreaded ruler Galbatorix. That was until a handsome man comes to her rescue. Did you hate the end of Inheritance the last Eragon book? I did. So I decided to make a 5th book. In this book, Eragon feels the need to go back to his home and see Roran and Arya,but since reading his future he knew he couldn't go back to Alagaesia.
