-"Blair please stop crying...Come on, let's put you in bed." He said and I didn't had the power to argue with him.
I woke up next day with a note next to me on the pillow. "I watched you until you stopped crying but I had to go. See you in class - Nate". I smiled but he was wrong. -"Hi! I'm Blair Higgins. I'm here for the help desk job. It's my first day." I blushed while the girl from reception introduced herself as Jenny and lead me to a conference room and told me to wait. I thanked her while I took a sit on one of those expensive chairs. Few moments later, the door opens and I saw a man around 30 with an expensive suit and a gorgeous smile. He was the one that every girl dreamed about. I was stranded to feel nervous.
-"Hi Blair. I'm Michael Thronne. The CEO of Smart Comp. It's a pleasure to meet you." He said while his eyes measured me from head to toe. Pretending I didn't notice, I nodded.
-"The pleasure is all mine, Sir!" I blushed. The door opens again and a young boy walked in.
-"You wanted to see me, mr. Thronne?" He kindle asked.
-"Yes Charles. Have a sit. This is miss Blair and she will be your help desk from now on." Charles bits his lip and I looked elsewhere.
-"Nice to meet you Blair!" He happily said. Mr. Thronne straights his voice.
-"Now every week we have a meeting with all employees. If you have a problem don't hesitate to contact me." He winks and left the room.
-"Come Blair, let me show you around." He took me in a company tour and introduced me with all his colleagues. He explained to me what I have to do and set up my laptop and my phone which I received from the company. Since the job was part time my 4 hours were up and I went home happy that my day was really good.
As I watch TV, someone knocked at the door. I opened and Nate was standing in front of me with bouquet of black tulips.
-"Hi Blair! Those are for you! Can I come in?" He asked but he was already in the living room.
-"Hi Nate and yes you can. Thank you for the flowers." And I went to kitchen to find a glass. "Do you want something to drink?" I asked politely.
-"No I am good. How are you? Your face has recovered pretty well." He smiled and I find a place next to him.
-"I am okay. Today was my first day of work." I said.
-"Why didn't you say so? Let's drink something to celebrate." I laughed as I put to glasses of whiskey.
We talked for an hour or so about the classes I missed and small things before he ruined everything with a question.
-"Why did he hit you?" I froze because I haven't thought about Ed in weeks mostly because I was in denial for what he did.
-"Why do you have to be a party breaker?"
-"I need to know Blair. You haven't show your face in weeks and I was nervous." He sighs. Nervous? About what? I mean we were kind of friends but this behavior doesn't make any sense.
-"Nate I appreciate your concern but you don't have to worry about me. I'm fine" I almost yelled.
-"Yeah, right..." he rolled his eyes and turned around walking in the living room.
-"What the fuck is your problem? I just had a good time for the last hour and you ruined it."
-"My problem? My problem is you Blair. I don't want you to get hurt again" he screamed at me.
-"So I am a problem? Even so I am not yours!" I walked through his face and pushed him. Again and again until he catches my hands trying to stop me. All my anger that I couldn't outsource ran through my veins and since he was in front of me he was just a collateral damage.
-"Blair stop!" He yelled so loud I panicked. He took a step closer and his eyes looked inside mine full of desire. I blushed and bite my lip.
-" You don't know what that lip does to me..." he whispered as his eyes went from green to dark.
-"Really...?" I rolled my eyes and in that second his lips kissed mine. It was like fireworks. Hi bites my lower lip and his tongue caresses mine and i moan.
