Chapter 12

Brian's POV
I was brought out of thought with a knock. I opened the door with a fake smile. There stood Y/n with a huge smile. "Hi Brian!" she yelled making me smile, a genuine one. 

"Hey, Y/n come in!" I said just as loud as her. She walked in sitting on my lovesac. 

"So what are we going to do?" Y/n said laying down. 

"Hmm I didn't get that far," I said laughing. 

"How about a model roller coaster," she said thinking out loud. 

"That's actually a good idea," I said excitedly. We both went into my room to start doing our research. We decided to do the facts first then figure out how to do the model. 

After an hour of research, we decided to have a snack break. We were currently having pizza and talking. "...then Hope fell onto Jaren," she said recalling the old memory. 

"Yea that day was fun," I remember that day as if it was yesterday. That's the day I fell in love with the beautiful girl in front of me.

~~Flashback~~
Y/n has spent the week before in her room crying her eyes out. Evan and the rest of the buys had left our group and began to bully Y/n. The guys never told us why but Y/n did along with Hope. We decided to take Y/n out of her room to a hidden waterfall. 

"Where are we?" Y/n said not wanting to be here. 

"It's a surprise," Jaren said for the 10th time. 

"We're here" Scotty said as the waterfall was heard. We all ran and stared in awe. 

"Race to the top?" Hope questioned. We all put our stuff down. 

"Loser gets pushed in," David said. 

"Go!!" I yelled as we all ran. Jaren and Hope were last together. Of course. I ended up pushing Jaren in first. He ended up screaming like a white girl the whole way down. Y/n pushed Hope. She was caught off guard so she ended up falling on Jaren. We all laughed as they yelped. I looked at Y/n and saw her smiling all of a sudden I got butterflies in my stomach. At that moment I knew that I had fell in love with my best friend.
~~Flashback Over~~

"I remember that day like it was yesterday," I said looking at Y/n. 

"Why? If I may ask of course," Y/n said looking confused. I stood quiet for a moment. 

"That's the day I found out that I was in love with you," I whispered. Y/n started laughing. "Why are you laughing?" I asked. 

"Cause that day was when I found out that I loved you as well." she said continuing laughing. 

"Loved?" I asked. Maybe she made a mistake. 

"Well yea after you told me that we were never gonna be anything I moved on," Y/n said looking away from me quiet. I have never regretted saying anything more than when I told her we were nothing.

"Y/n look I...wait is that an 'E' necklace?!" I said kinda harshly as I noticed that she was playing with the necklace nervously. She froze when I mentioned it. 

"Yea it is, Evan gave it to me Monday," she said. "He gave it to me as a best friend gift," she said trying to convince herself more than me. 

"So did you and him together now? Or did you replace me as a best friend?" I said letting the jealousy get the best of me. 

"No Brian Evan and I aren't together!" she said rolling her eyes. "Even if we were why would you care! You said we were never gonna get together you said that we were nothing so I moving on what's the problem with that? And you know I would never replace you as a best friend," she said rolling her eyes with a pissed tone.

"Why go be with Evan? He hurt you for a reason that you won't even tell us for. He hurt you and I picked you up remember," I said pissed and full of jealousy. 

"He hurt me cause I hurt him alright! FUCK BRIAN! He loved me and I loved him. But I broke him when I put the group before us. I didn't want to break the group even though it did. And yes you picked me up and I'm so thankful that you did. But you broke my heart as well and he picked me up as well. So Does that mean I shouldn't be close to you then?" said grabbing her stuff. I stood quiet soaking in everything she said. "You know what I'm done. Just don't talk to me till you're done with your man period." she said walking out my door. What did I just do?
