Chapter 8

Y/n's POV
After the Ferris wheel we got onto more rides. After we did the spinning ride John dared Marcel and me to slurp a slurpy before Marcel could finish and the same to him against me. Marcel and I got our drinks, Evan count down from 5 and Marcel and I began to drink. Me being competitive I finished it before him ending with a brain freeze. The guys all laughed at me after me joining in. We decided to get snacks and to be children for the night. We found our way after the rides to the game booths and began playing. I played a couple of rounds and felt the urge to use the restrooms again. "Hey guys I am going to use the restroom" I said pointing to where they were. I walked away and eventually made it to the restrooms. After using it I was happy that I didn't see anyone when all of a sudden I bumped into someone. Great. I stepped back when I looked up to apologize I realized it was Brian. "Sor-" he began until he realized it was me. We stood there for a moment not knowing what to do. "I'm sorry" he stated. "It's alright it was my fault I wasn't paying attention," I said pulling my hair out of my face to the back of my ear. Brian smiled when I did that I didn't know why. "No, I'm sorry for everything that happened. I realized that I was so wrong for what I did and what I said to the group." I was shocked as he spoke. "I broke the group, I broke our friendship, I broke you most importantly. I hurt you and I shouldn't have. You didn't deserve that you deserve the world.." Brian continued while small tears fell fro his eyes. I didn't know what to say so I just hugged him. He was shocked at first but then eventually hugged back. "I'm sorry" he whispered. "I forgive you" I whispered as well. We stood there for a moment then I pulled back and wiped his eyes. "Best friends again?" Brian asked and I nodded. "So your friends with them again?" he said. "Yea they've changed a lot and they helped me but they will never replace you guys tho," I answered. I moved my hair out of my face again to behind my ear. "I've always liked it when you did that," Brian said smiling. I turned blushing. "So are you going through with the plan?" Brian asked. I froze..the plan again. I just nodded wanting to end that conversation. "I should probably go back," I said hugging him once again and walking away. Brian smiled as I left.

John's POV
(A couple of minutes before Y/n returned)
"Where's Y/n? She's been gone for quite some time" Evan said worriedly. "I'll go find her, I have to use the restroom anyway," I said walking from the group. After using the restroom I decided to look around when I saw her. Her back was facing towards me and she was talking to someone. I noticed that it was Brian I decided to get close to hear what they were talking about. "So are you going through with the plan?" Brian asked her. It was quiet for a moment till Y/n replied with a nod. What was the plan? What is Y/n up to? I walked away back to the group and decided that I shouldn't tell anyone until I knew the full details. Maybe it wasn't about us. I walked back and told the group that I didn't see her.

Y/n's POV
I walked to the group and I saw Evan really worried. "Oh my god Y/n! You scared us!" Marcel said and Evan hugged me and spun me around. "Evan put me down I'm going to fall!" I said giggling while spinning I saw Brian and he looked hurt. Wait does he still like me? All of a sudden I was thrown over Tyler's shoulder. "Where are we going" I said giving up about being placed down. "You took forever that we are going back to my house now," Evan said. "I'm sorry the bathroom line was long" I lied. I looked at John and he looked at me as if he didn't believe me. I pushed it beside me. Tyler sat me in the front and I just smiled at me while he rolled his eyes. I checked my phone and noticed that it was 11:43 already. We had planned to spend the night as Evan's. My mom agreed I could if I slept by myself or around someone she trusted, which was only Evan. We had jammed out the whole ride to his house. There had been an accident so it was gonna take a while. The guys in the back had all fell asleep as before the fair they had football practice. I chuckled at took a picture of the boys. "You know they are gonna kill you right," Evan said looking at me. "Yea but it was cute look at the way they're all laying on each other," I said as we both turned. We both smiled and returned back to our seats. "So Y/n did you enjoy tonight?" Evan asked. I turned to him remembering the night, I hung out with my friends and got my old best friends back. "Yea tonight has been an eventful night," I said smiling. "Oh yea here I won this for you," he said grabbing something with one arm from the back. He gave it to me and I saw it was a teddy bear. I smiled, "awww Evan you didn't need too." I said smiling. "Well, I was hoping I could show off in front of you to get it for you but this is alright," he said scratching the back of his neck blushing. "Well thank you Evan, I love it," I said getting up. I kissed his cheek making him blush once more. I smiled. Finally, traffic was moving again and somehow Evan's hand ended in mine but I didn't mind I just smiled and looked outside the window.
Eventually, we made it to Evan's house and we all decided to watch a movie and just chill with each other. We began watching Cars as Marcel and Tyler were so into it. I walked into the kitchen to get a drink. I heard someone come in as well I looked up to see Marcel and Tyler walk in. "I thought you were all into the movie, what happened?" I asked. "The movie ended and Cars 2 is next so we wanted some snacks, so we came to get some." I laughed at Marcel's answer. I walked back. After the boys came back I grabbed my pillow and whacked Tyler's head. "Aye what was that for?" Tyler said annoyed. I shrugged and whacked him again. Tyler grabbed his pillow and tried to hit me but I used John as a shield and he whacked him instead. John grabbed the pillow causing Evan and Marcel to join in we all began whacking each other and laughing. After a while, we all sat down out of breath. I was currently in between Evan and Tyler, Tyler hit me once more as revenge for smacking him which caused all of us to laugh. "I love you guys," I said. They all looked at me shocked. "Wait really?" Marcel asked. "Yea I forgive you guys and now I love you guys," I answered. Marcel and Tyler hugged me and said that they love me to and that I was like a sister to them. That made me smile. We began to talk a while longer and just enjoyed each other's presence. Eventually John, Marcel, and Tyler fell asleep. I surprisingly wasn't tired. "Hey Evan do you think I could change now?" I asked embarrassed. "Oh yea here follow me." I followed Evan to his room. When we walked in, it had changed since I last been in here it was more mature. "This is my room you, you will be staying here while the rest of us stay downstairs. There is the restroom in case you need to go. I'm pretty sure you remember." Evan said as if I hadn't stayed here the other day. "Evan I could sleep downstairs with the guys. It's your room." I said walking into the restroom. I closed the door and began my night routine.
Walking out I saw a shirtless Evan. I coughed scaring him. I put my old clothes into my bag and started to go downstairs. Evan pulled me back and placed me into bed. "No you're sleeping here. Final discussion." Evan said I pouted and I knew I wasn't gonna win the argument so I just layed down. "Hey, Evan I'm not tired you wanna watch a movie?" I ask. "You know what sure." Evan said sitting next to me. We ended up talking more than watching the movie. "Oh my god remember when we were dating in like fourth grade." I said laughing. "Oh my god yes and you made me kiss a toad to show that I loved you." he answered laughing. "I completely forgot about that I can't believe you did that." I said laughing. "Well, I did love you so I wanted to show you, well I still do love you. That's why I'm so glad that we are good again." Evan said looking at me. "I love you too Evan. To be honest I've always had. Never stopped." I said looking back at him. We stood there for a moment just looking at each other's eyes eventually Evan leaned in as did I. Our lips met and they fit like a puzzle piece. After a bit, we both pulled back and smiled. He pulled me in and began hugging me as we watched the movie. I eventually fell asleep in his arms smiling crazy.

Evan's POV
I finally did it I kissed her! Nothing could ruin this moment. I loved her so much hope she knows now. I heard small snores and I looked down and I saw her fast asleep I laid us down and just cuddled with her. I fell asleep with a smile and with her in my mind.
