Chapter 16

A/N BIG ANNOUNCEMENT AT THE END OF THE CHAPTER.

Y/n's POV

After eating we all decided to go back to school. On our way to school it was quiet not an awkward quiet a nice comfortable silence. "It was cool to have all of us together again. Well most of us" Hope said looking out the window. 

"Yea it was hopefully next time the rest will join us" Evan said looking at me then Hope through the rear view mirror. I looked at Hope and we both busted out laughing. "I'm being serious" I turned to Evan. 

"Yea maybe Scotty and David would join us ..." I started. "Jaren and Brian? Yea that's never happening." I agreed with Hope.

"Why not?" Evan asked. 

"They hate you. Well Brian does and since they're best friends it bounces off to Jaren." Hope answered. I nodded. 

"After the incident...Brian hated your guts." I said looking out the window. 

"Well I'm dating his best friend wouldn't that get him to hang with us?" Evan said looking at the road. 

"No that makes it worse" Hope muttered quietly. 

"Huh Hope said something?" Evan said looking at Hope once again. 

"Nope just singing" Hope said I looked at her confused. 'Note to self ask Hope later'. 

The rest of the ride went quick and we soon arrived at school. Hope got out and I gave Evan a quick peck and thanked him. Hope looked at the time as we walked into the school. "It gonna be break in like 5 minutes. I need to get something out of my locker wanna go?" she said walking. I nodded and followed her. 

"So what did you think of breakfast?" I asked. 

"It was cool to hang with everyone again. Evan's changed from when we last saw him. Happier and Nice. I approve. But we have a problem. THE PLAN. What are you gonna tell the guys. Especially since you guys made it public that you're together." Hope answered. I hit my head against the random locker as they bell for break rang. 

"I'll tell them today." I said hitting my head again. Hope and I walked to where our regular hang out spot was. We were the first one's there and saw the guys heading our way. I sat down and got on my phone. 

"Hello Hope and Y/n" David said dragging my eyes up to him. 

"Hello David." I smiled at him. Soon all the boys gathered at the table. 

"So since we are all here. Y/n is your post actually true?" Jaren asked. There was a silence in the group for a moment. 

"Yes it's true." I answered as Hope looked at me and smiled. 

"Is it for the plan?" Scotty asked. 

"Actually I don't want to do the plan anymore. I realized I still really like Evan and I don't want to hurt him again. I'm so sorry guys but I believe you guys could still win." I said looking down. Hope hugged me along with David making me smile. Brian just got up and left the table. Jaren gave me a look and went after him. "Well that was kinda expected" I said. 

"Yea, but Y/n we are sorry for putting you in that position. We forgot about the past and glad that you guys are together." Scotty said making me smile. "It's alright Scotty I'm just glad you guys aren't mad." I said giggling. 

Jaren's POV

I chased after Brian until we reached the roof of the school. "Y/n is stupid Brian forget about her" I spat. 

"Don't call her stupid. She's liked him for a while. We were the reason they weren't together in the first place." Brian said making me feel guilty. 

"They won't last you'll get your Happily Ever After, trust me Brian" I said. 

"Happily Ever After doesn't exist." Brian said looking into the distance. I sat next to him and looking at the distance as well. 

Evan's POV

After dropping off the girls I made my way back to school. I walked into the school catching up to my friends. "Finally you're here!" the guys said laughing. I sat down next to guys. 

"So today felt like old times huh?" Marcel said to the group. We all nodded, it really did feel like before. 

"I wonder if we could get the whole group again." Tyler said. 

"I asked the girls if we could." I mentioned. 

"What did they say?" Del said making everyone look at me. 

"They laughed and then I said I was serious. And then they said Scotty and David might be up to it but Jaren and Brian probably won't." I said looking at the group. 

"Hey progress right?" Tyler said making all of smile, he's right. 

"We play their team in two days. Hey are you gonna ask Y/n the Homecoming dance?" Marcel said making me go blank. 

"I completely forgot about that. How should I ask her?" I said to the guys. 

"You should ask Hope" the three guys said at the same time making all of us laugh. I'll reminded myself to text Hope later. 

~~TIME SKIP~~

I walked into my room and immediately texted Hope ideas for asking Y/n. 

(H- Hope, E- Evan)

hey Hope you busy? -E

H- Nope but don't you have practice

Yea at 5 tho I came home to get my stuff - E

H- Oh okay. What did you need?

How should I ask how Y/n to Homecoming? - E

H- OMG! DISNEY SHE'LL LOVE THAT 

Okay I'll figure everything out then i'll send it to you. -E

H- Yes please. And hey Evan take care of Y/n please. 

Of course I will - E

I started to think ideas on my way to practice. I Got It! I know how I'll ask her.

Hope's POV

I was walking home and suddenly got a text from Evan asking about Homecoming. I began to wonder will Jaren ask me to homecoming. I smiled thinking about that. I suddenly got a text from Brian asking to meet up. Of course I said yes. 

I ended up meeting Brian at the field after practice. "What did you want to talk about" I asked Brian. All of a sudden he broke down crying, I rarely see Brian cry. I hugged him letting him let it out. "Hey let's go sit in your car." I told him walking to the car. We both sat down in silence until Brian finally said something.

"I love Y/n"
