august 22 monday
i woke up, my head was kinda hurting i don't know why. i groaned as i sat up from my couch, wait my couch? i looked around too see kairi knocked out on the floor, roshaun passed out by me and y/n on the other couch. i jumped and stood up looking around once again and all i saw was my mom staring at my weird. i looked at the clock by the tv.
8:38 am
a: mom?!
mom: what?!
a: SCHOOL! WHY DIDN'T YOU WAKE ME UP
mom: alex there's no-
i started shaking roshaun, then kairi, and y/n. y/n didn't budge and kairi didn't either but roshaun got up a little and looked up.
mom: ALEX
a: WHAT?!
mom: there's no school!
a: yes it's monday!
mom: you're a junior, today is only for freshman's
a: what?
mom: yes didn't you read the back to school packet i gave you from passaic
a: ...
i stood there, silent
mom: hm, read next time
a: oops...
mom: before your friends sleepover ask next time, your dad was mad on his way to work seeing this
a: oh sorry...
mom: he doesn't want your friend sleeping on the floor or couch
a: oh
mom: well have the guest room set up by the end of this week okay then you can start asking
a: yeah of course sorry mom
mom: don't worry, you guys should get out. go to the park and get some air. enjoy your guys last day before school starts.
a: yeah we will love you mom
mom: love you too
my mom headed back into her room with her coffee. i sat back down confused by then roshaun sat up confused as well.
a: dude we don't have school
r: what?
a: yeah i gotta tell mattia and alvaro
i called mattia. roshaun called alvaro.
m: what's up
a: we don't have school
m: i know my mom told me
a: oh
m: what?
a: you weren't gonna tell me
m: i texted you, bumblefuck
a: oh shit
m: ha, yeah. i'll talk to you later
a: ok bye
me and roshaun got done with the phone calls, he said alvaro found out when he walked into the school and got told it was a day for freshman's. me and roshaun started rolling, it ended up waking y/n up.
she gave us a death stare for waking us up then her eyes widened. me and roshaun both told her there was no school and she didn't believe us so her dumbass walked all the way upstairs to my moms room to go ask her. she came back in relief considering she looked like a mess.

y/n: shut up bitch
a: just saying
y/n: ok and ur ugly
r: don't roast baby like that
a: yeah exactly y/n
she rolled her eyes at us and my mom came out once again with some "news"
mom: look at around 5pm no hanging out
a: but why
mom: we are having dinner
a: we have dinner every night?
mom: no with people
y/n: ???
mom: we are going over to someone's house
a: OH, the girl i told you about
mom: yes me and her mom got off the phone and agreed to go tonight, we are gonna take the car because it'll be a 2 minute drive okay
y/n: sounds good to me
mom: ok good don't forget guys
our mom left going back to her room.
r: yo i gotta go my dad blowing up my phone he probably gonna beat my ass
a: shit better get to running
r: imma order a uber
y/n: good luck at home
r: thanks see y'all
r walked out in panic hoping he won't get in trouble. me and y/n stared at each other. it was already 9 on the dot. i'm lucky today wasn't our first day it would've been bad already since i would've been late and looked like a mess. i got up and woke kairi up, took a couple shoves but he got up eventually. the first thing i said is there's no school, he remembered that it was only for freshman's.
