me and y/n hopped in my car. i started driving. cold stone was about 15 minutes away i'd say, the first 5 minutes were quiet. very awkward., she was just looking down and i was just looking at the road.
m: so.. do you wanna uh play some music. y/n: uh yeah sure
i saw her reach for the aux cord and she started playing some don toliver.
m: good artist choice y/n: ha thanks.
another quiet five minutes between me and her, just the music playing. she then said
"is this weird?" m: what? y/n: that were hanging out m: uh no people hangout y/n: i know but m: but what is there a law saying i can't hangout with you or something? y/n: uh- n- m: chill i'm just messing with you don't worry y/n: oh...
we finally got there and i parked my car. i went to open her door and she got out, we both headed for cold stone as i opened the door for her and smiled. we walked in and sat down at a table.
m: what do you want? y/n: um i'll probably get mint chocolate chip m: no shit y/n: huh? m: that's my favorite y/n: aw really m: yeah, i'll go order it y/n: oh here she said handing me a ten bill m: i got it y/n: are you sure m: yes i'm sure don't worry about it
i went up to go order and got us our ice creams. we sat down and talked about different things. she seemed interesting and nice, she was already cute so i got a whole package of greatness huh. the whole deal breaker is her brother, he already told the boys not to try it with her but here i am . taking her out for ice cream, smiling with her.... i don't know if i'm breaking a promise / bro code but fuck it right?
m: so your brother y/n: what about him?... m: uh honestly i think you're cute and i'm not gonna lie maybe i would date you but i don't know if it can happen with him like i don't know in the way? y/n: date? m: oh shit uh was that weird y/n: idk i never dated anyone m: seriously y/n: yea.... m: not even for a month y/n: mm-mm..... m: hm maybe i could have the opportunity of being your first y/n: mhm funny... m: what i'm serious y/n: right m: y/n what? y/n: idk seems like some big joke m: what does y/n: this m: how? y/n: idk you're popular and probably trying to make me look like a fool. m: no i think you're cute and i'm not trying to do that to you. i wouldn't wanna do stupid shit like that to you y/n: uh huh... m: nah i'm serious look you're cool and all i wouldn't be some bitch to hurt you okay y/n: .... m: look there's an arcade a 5 min walk from here do you wanna go or? y/n: uh yeah sure what time is it m: uh let me check, it's 3:10 y/n: oh uh okay sure i have to be home at 5 that's why m: you got early curfew? y/n: depends on the day m: i see well let's go right now because the drive back to your house is already like 25 minutes.
me and her walked out of cold stone and walked to the arcade place. it was alright nothing serious, like a i don't know how to say it but basic older arcade. not too small not to be big, cheap but still nice. there's way bigger arcades here so that's where i'll take her later on. i saw her observing the place and i gave her a membership card i had.
y/n: oh you got one already m: oh yeah they have a app where you can reload money onto it from your phone so we can just go play the games y/n: oh cool thank you m: mhm
we walked towards the claw machines since it was the first thing she spotted. she ended up winning a dolphin plushie on her 3rd try, i then asked her if she wanted to play air hockey since i'm a pro at that.
